Been known for a while now. He was already semi-retired when he came aboard. It was a favor for O.

Hmmm. Can anyone think of a good Dline coach? Idk...somebody who's spent most of his career as a Dline coach? Maybe somebody to demote from within?

There are actually sick ppl who post here who hate Pete and will be happy he is out, they will say it was a forced retirement due to needing an active recruiter and not O's buddy.

Meatball's natural position. He'll do well there, plus he's already a very good recruiter.

Not a bad move at all. Meatball was a DL here, albeit a walk on, and is probably the best recruiter on staff.

OMG! Really replace a legend DL line Coach with a nobody. Can this program only hire from within. Look around for the best once

Pete Jenkins

In the 80's he would come to the House of Lee on Vets in Metry. Closed to the press, maybe 50 -60 people in attendance.

There was no interwebs nor ESPN. Sports news was printed on paper and delivered to your home each day. It was called a "news paper."

Hearing Pete open up with no press in the room was a real treat.

You may want to read the title of the op, or the linked article.

You know Pete will be helping in some capacity. But an inexperienced coach like Dennis is too risky for a SEC dline job by himself, I sure hope they go get a good one cause you must win up front if wanting to win especially in SEC

Much respect to Pete Jenkins. I hope he enjoys his retirement and has many years to do it.
