Pete Carroll re Damien Lewis and CEO

FWIW on the local (Seattle) sports radio this morning Pete Carroll was asked about Damien Lewis. Pete had high praise for the young man and said from the moment he got to camp he's been a great addition to the team, and he could play center (Pocic is the starting center) if needed. He also said they drafted Damien largely based on recommendation from "Eddie". Eddie told Pete they would love Damien from the start and he would be a great addition. Pete said he has known and worked with Eddie a long time and trusted Eddie completely to give him advice on a player.
Now, we just need Pete to give Eddie good advice on coaches to hire (no more Bos!).

Unlike the fraud Saban, Pete has won at the highest level of football. He’s to Saban, what Saban is to great HS coaches. Saban was an unmitigated failure in the NFL.

SABAN was a successful dc under belichek. And had good defenses in Miami. His offense failed him in Miami.

Okay, you can’t beat him, and your ego needs something, so you triangulate to a moral victory.
Saban is the greatest of all time college coach - greater even than Bear Bryant.

Calling Saban a fraud is crazy. Pete was the dishonest of the two. Stuff he did at USC was horrible.

In your opinion, how is Saban a fraud? I do not doubt that that program is skirting/flouting the rules, but thus far no one has called them out on it.

Just remember. Those dominant USC teams Pete had, HE CHEATED. The 2004 championship was vacated and he left USC right around the time everyone started finding out about it.

I don’t want to say LSU has been squeaking clean about recruiting, but I only imagine what shite goes down in the woods and hills of Alabama. That’s no joke .
