You can be sure Woodward had plenty of legal advice before he fired her.

Sharon Lewis, who filed a $50 million Title IX lawsuit against LSU in April 2021, is no longer employed as the school’s associate athletic director of football recruiting and alumni relations.

Attorneys representing Lewis released a statement to Tiger Rag through Delta Media confirming that she was fired by LSU athletic director Scott Woodward.

“The wrongful termination of Sharon Lewis by LSU is a continuation of the retaliation she has endured for reporting violations of Title IX and State Law by LSU coaches and athletic officials,” Lewis’ legal team said in the statement “LSU’s action is a clear violation of Title IX, Louisiana Whistleblower Statute and EEOC guidelines that protect employees against retaliation for reporting violations of federal and state law.

“Ms. Lewis’ wrongful termination by Woodward and the LSU administration will not deter or silence her from speaking out on behalf of victims of the university’s deplorable behavior which puts students and employees at risk.”

Why was she still working at LSU after she had filed a $50 million lawsuit against them?

This is a loss for LSU. Downvote away. Don't care.

She will end up at Bama. Saban has been trying to get her to leave LSU since 2007.

Sounds like it was a decision made where getting her out of the building asap is more valuable than the wrongful termination suit they will inevitably pay. Speculation of course.

Care to elaborate or just state blank statements to why she is a loss?

She overplayed her hand and will end up with nothing but a bunch of legal bills.

This lady had a fantastic job and managed to throw it away.

Clueless. She's been basically unassigned and completely cut out of any decision making since SW was hired.

Maybe she's the missing piece to get Bama over the hump of being a top football program..........

LSU had enough evidence to terminate her with cause after the Title IX report came out last year. She was complicit in numerous violations

Good Luck proving retaliation when you were part of the problem.

The case will settle out of court because neither side will want the truth to come out in court

WTF. Bottom of the barrel scum. I'm pretty sure no school will ever touch this POS.
