just don't see it. If you look around, the Big 12 is likely to take up 2 spots this year, ND is probably in even if they lose the only 2 games they play.
If the Big 10 gets 4 teams(UCLA has a very easy schedule)
Big 12 gets 2 teams
ACC gets 1
G6 gets 1
ND gets 1
That leaves at most 3 spots left.
UGA, OM, Bama, Tenn, UT, UK all fighting for a few spots. Maybe Big 10 gets 3 and the SEC has 4. UK has a pretty easy schedule, UGA will mostly likely finish with 2 or fewer losses.
We basically lose the tiebreaker to OM and UK so far, plus whoever our 3rd loss is to.
I think the odds at 9-3 are a lot lower. I remember articles like this last year about a 9-3 team having a really high chance to make the playoffs, then when it came down to it, none of them did.

LSU lost by a TD and in OT by 1 point both on the road, If we finish this tough slate 5-1 or 6-0 then we are in. The way you lose matters a lot
Exactly. I know ole miss beat us head to head but then they want and got straight up embarrassed by a Florida team.
We're one of the few that has been in every single game till the end.

B10 will have 3 teams tops. SEC is 4.
Georgia will be 10-2 and may be the only 10 win team in conference.
If LSU ends the year hot and return the 7’s, it will be hard to keep us out

For some reason I think this team is capable of winning both the Texas and Alabama game but for some weird reason I could see a struggle in Knoxville and maybe even Fayetteville depending on how they play on the road this Saturday
I think we beat AU, Bama, TN and Ark
But it would be classic LSU to make Arch look like the QB Texas and the media hoped he would be and lose that game

If Les Miles were still coaching the team he would argue "We are 2 possessions away from being undefeated"

1 fricking yard to win the game! One.

Not so at all! Multiple games still on LSU's schedule that are very much toss ups and far from guaranteed Wins...

Don't kid yourself, we could win or lose every game left on the schedule. Lane has his work cut out for him. Keep winning and hope for more chaos.

Who is Austin Mock and how did he come up with these percentages?
Posted on 10/22/26 at 11:49 am to GeauxPanthers2
Moot. LSU already has two losses with Texas and Alabama at home and Auburn and Tenn the road. 1-3 or 2-2 likely with these four.
