This stuff is only impermissible if it happens at a non blueblood program. If Duke, KY, KS, UNC do it, it is great recruiting.

However, Cam’s dad admitted to shopping him (thank you for the correction) but that’s not enough? He admitted to breaking the rules. Are we to believe that he only shopped him to State but he needed no such compensation at AU? Why does it have to be Chizik on a wire tap?
ETA: also, I don’t give a shite if Cam got paid, btw. So I’m not trying to re-try the case here.

I don’t feel good about Wade surviving this. I also think the NCAA has some significant obstacles to overcome before he’s tried and executed for his crimes. I will also continue to believe that the NCAA is willfully ignorant of corruption at the major basketball powers. I’m mostly annoyed that LSU is getting set up as the sacrificial lamb.
