the auburn fan is not getting it and is being very hypocritical. youre not applying the same logic to the cam's case as wades's case. And its because youre bias. Obviously both coaches paid players to go to their school. But its about what you can PROVE.
IMO There is MORE actual evidence on the Cam Newtown thing but you are just stuck on this recording. A recording in cases is not the end all. Everyone knows what a strong arse offer means. But "technically" and thats what you have to go, an offer can mean a multitude of things.

He's been OK, and if it wasn't for the baggage around him, I'm cool with him being here. But if we have to cut bait, I won't miss him, and we have a seemingly competent AD in place. We'll find someone as good if not better.

IMO as a 45+ year season ticket holder, if the NCAA pounds LSU we may as well keep WW through the penalties (short of a show clause) at least.

Cam was probably paid. The two situations are kind of similar but not a true comparison to gauge anything really from it. (I didn’t bring up the Cam situation, someone else did). There was nothing that connected (thankfully) AU to Cam being shopped. I think a wire tap would have sufficed and AU probably goes down.
I mean yeah the NCAA could say “strong arse offers could mean anything when talking with a known handler/middleman. That’s not enough.” Or was that might be all they need. It’s not a beyond a reasonable doubt standard. It’s whatever the NCAA wants to do. That’s what sucks about it.
