Les Miles is not a horrible coach. LSU is the ONLY program in all of college that is competing with Alabama right now. No other program has stepped up and proven to be any threat.

Last I saw, Mack Brown was the highest paid coach in CFB, college coaches rarely make lateral moves, there is no where to go up from Alabama, LSU, Texas, OU etc.

and you are dumbass if you think other colleges could not or would not pay Saban what Bama is. college coaches almost never go from one big time program to another. The only recent example was Franchione leaving Bama for A&M and that was in part because he felt Bama lied to him about the looming NCAA sanctions.

I was out of town for the game and watched it with 2 relatives that are Bama grads. They were perplexed at our fanbase giving Les so much shite. They also all agreed they would want Miles in a heartbeat if Nicky wasn't their coach.

I was responding to a post not the article. Saban isn't going back to the NFL. The only chance he leaves bama is to build up another college program.

He tried the NFL and failed. I don't consider it an option for him anymore.
