From a skill standpoint I think Emery is LSU's most "complete" back.
Emery can’t block and he looks uncomfortable trying to catch the ball besides that he’s perfect
Here are the stats for the two backs, perhaps not as divergent as people think
TDP 23 Games
Rushing: 168 Carries, 741 Yards, 4.4 YPC, 9 TD
Receiving: 18 Receptions, 121 Yards, 6.7 YPC, 0 TD
From Scrimmage: 186 Plays, 862 Yards, 4.6 AVG, 9 TD
Emery 19 Games
Rushing: 114 Carries, 566 Yards, 5 YPC, 7 TD
Receiving: 20 Receptions, 133 Yards, 6.7 YPC, 0 TD
From Scrimmage: 134 Plays, 699 Yards, 5.2 AVG, 7 TD
Blocking is his only real issue I'd say. But that is, potentially, a significant issue.

He must've just got there cause he missed a bunch of days.
I just read he was out for school work so i don't know what you're loling at.

The world is not coming to an end. Coach O made it seem like its very minor
But you have to understand what the OP is doing. He is going to play every little negative thing that happens, that isn't in O's control up, like it's the end of the world. That way he can point to things like this as excuses why O wasn't as successful as he should have been. It's all a fall back, incase O fails.

UCLA must be licking their chops now

I just want to see Emery with some space!
Better look up his high school highlights then, because this is college football on the SEC level. Space is earned, made, created, not given.
Unless the RB is Leonard Fournette vs Auburn.

They’ve had 3 or 4 practices and he’s for sure been at 2. Just watch the practice videos

Anyone else find it a little weird we have so many guys missing practice due to school right now? I mean how did we not see this coming when we scheduled practice to start? I get missing maybe 1 practice for a final but we have guys missing multiple practices to take care of school stuff?
Nah it makes sense. Summer intercession final grades are due today.

You are arguing with a typical rant moron. It was reported that he wasn't there for the media portion of ONE practice. Then it was reported that the reasoning had to do with taking a final.
This low IQ individual decided to turn that into whatever he wanted, in typical rant fashion.

I did watch 2 and he wasn't at either.
That's all i said. He wasn't at the beginning of camp.
It was tdp, josh Williams, kiner, norman, and goodwin in that order.

How do we know any of these freshman that have not even seen a snap in a college football game, let alone the SEC, are more than capable?

Emery just doesn’t fit our offense to me personally. Or maybe the way he runs makes it seem like that. His moves are so elementary, with kicking his legs up before he makes a move and has no one fooled. Pad level too high, doesn’t play like a compact back ready to lower the shoulder. He runs like he’s 6’5.
TDP is more complete. Emery has it in him but I think he’s convinced himself that he’s a speed back. I haven’t seen him even attempt to bring the “boom” to an offender at will yet

Stats say he’s better . I’ve always liked him just as much as tdp. It’s like he was starting to really play good when he got hurt last year. Ypc is the stat I mean

Hope Emery has finally learned how to pass block.

No doubt it's Emery's time to shine.
This also means one, if not both, of those two highly regarded freshmen will get a good chance.

Because they’ll have to be. Depth is a concern. They might not have the choice.
