lied in her written statement to police

That in and of itself is obstruction of justice.

Edited to remove the word broad.

Honestly, you should be held accountable also. Bc it’s innocent until proven guilty. a lot of people on this board found him guilty without evidence or a trial. So blood is on your hands also. A lot of these people bashed him and some even making racial comments.

So she also said that the driver of the
Gold truck braked. Actually said he stopped in the road. Gold truck driver said he did not slam his brakes — I’m assuming he slowed down?

I thought they did?

And idk when the video was found by the DA but KL attorney got all records from DA and reviewed everything. I don’t think that he gave a timeframe. I may have missed that.

I agree everybody involved in even naming him as a suspect should be in jail. He was not involved at all in this crash. Period. Cameras don’t lie!!

I hate to get it wrong — I’d watch the video in the other thread.

A most unfortunate story. All of these issues would have been brought out at a trial or preliminary hearing if Lacy would have allowed the process to play out. Suicide wasn’t the answer.

What I wasn't aware of from the video is that Kyren had a passenger with him.

How did they ever even know about Kyren to begin with?

I’m assuming it’s not hard to find a charger in the color of his.

Why did they arrest him and charge him if the surveillance video showed he was far enough away from the accident that his actions probably didn’t cause it. It was caused by an overreaction by a driver who was driving too close and probably too fast. Why did they charge him with homicide without all the evidence? Or if they had the evidence, why did they ignore it??? Why did they ignore actual witness testimony and tell them what to testify to??

What the actual frick happened here???

If this investigation was done ethically, Kyren Lacy would still be alive and living out his dream of playing in the NFL!!!!

I haven’t heard when the video came out. The DA gave all info to his attorney. I can’t imagine that they were quick with it.

I don’t think he stated how long he’s had it. At least not that I heard in the video. Just that he’d been given all info from the DAs office.

Someone screwed up. Bigly. And it’s a crying shame.

Just did thanks. That is pure craziness.

I’m sure the Lacy family will file suit against LSP

Never came on this board and bashed him, just looked at it like a young kid probably screwed up and it cost someone their life. It’s not a stretch to jump to that conclusion based on all the press around accidents involving athletes driving carelessly. Also, you never heard much from the family or his attorney other than the standard he’s innocent and will get his day in court. It’s malpractice on the part of the attorney to have this info and not vehemently deny his involvement and make a bigger deal about it.

This is dumb emotional bullshite. He was never found guilty of anything. It’s not the police fault that he went off the rails and killed himself. He would have had his day in court and been found not guilty. Or more likely the case dropped.

The thing I find more depressing in all of this are the people, in one breath, scream "support the police" (thin blue line dickwads) and want to chastise the officers like this kind of thing doesn't happen all the time. Policing is truly broken in this country and these people are part of the problem and the idiots filling law enforcement's ranks are a symptom of the problem.

I’m not the suing type but damn if I wouldn’t be with this.

Funyun girl talked about the guy braking so I “assume” that’s why the trooper was saying that .. but that time is coercion. Also why was the body cam not on for the first bit? Or at least the attorney says 4.5 minutes are missing??
