For you guys driving from Chicago to Milwaukee. There are only 75 tolls in Illinois but the road is good. Didn't encounter any tolls once you got into Wisconsin.

I would suggest continuing through Milwaukee to GB

But if you fly into O'Hare, you'll hit two tolls I believe. Your toll is double if you pay cash.

One tip, if the cash line is seriously backed up, you can just blow through the open road tolling and then pay online after the fact.

No tolls in Wisconsin.

A lot of rental companies spot your tolls also.

Oh yeah, they usually already have the transponders in them. Good call.

Sounds a like a good plan.

For the Cubs game, the party will be in the bleachers, FYI.

I've never been, but I just saw Five O Clock Steakhouse featured on Steak Paradise on the Food Network. It's not downtown though. But, if you want a taste of old school Wisconsin supper club, it might be worth considering.

Looks like Mo's is a chain, which could be good or bad.

Yup, that's the case pretty much every game

I'm a die hard Cubs fan and I love sitting out there. The heckling of the fielders is sometimes relentless, the drinking is heavy and the drunks wild cards, and by and large that area is more into the game than anywhere else in the stadium. It's like the student section of Wrigley.

Make sure to hit a few spots on Clark...Old Crow is a decent spot...country, BBQ (kind of "meh"), but a great bar and the help wears sun dresses and cowboy boots , Houndstooth Saloon is a decent country bar with a small beer garden, Vine's has a great beer garden, Slugger's and Cubby Bear are classic Cubs bars.

Then head over to Murphy's Bleachers for one (it's right across from the bleacher entrance at Sheffield and Waveland).

I'm flying from Dallas to Chicago then driving the rest of the way to GB.

I'm not going to buy tickets until mid to late August.

A lot of LSU fans are getting their heads ripped off by StubHub right now
