Whoa, whoa, whoa. So you make fun of us for not beating an SEC team, but you bring up PSU beating a team not in the SEC, just cause they're in the south and "fast" (Florida State), so it's basically the same.
Ever heard of da U? We played and beat them, you know.

FWIW, though, I am cheering for the Lions, and think it will be a good game. Could go either way.

either way, beating FSU isnt beating an SEC team. They may have fast players, but their fast players suck at football.

lol, FSU went 8-5 that year. They lost to Florida 34-7. Florida finished 5th in the SEC that year

I wasn't attacking you guys...just making a point to Sprint that Ohio State is 0-9 vs the SEC all-time. The reason I mentioned Florida State was it was the other BCS game we've played.
FWIW we beat the Vols a year after we beat Florida St...so if you want to know how we did recently against an SEC team...we won. Our success against the SEC isn't up for debate since it's simply based on fact...while Ohio State's lack of success is also based on fact.
If you really want to nitpick the game vs Florida in 97 was without our two best offensive players due to them both being suspended for the bowl game. So we're 5-1 vs the SEC since 1990 in games where we actually got to play all of our starters.

Don't worry about it, Nittany. You're a cool poster, IMO. Just when one of your buddies took a shot at us, when we lost, even though we got there (and had to beat you guys to get there) it made me a little upset, that's all.

We've carried this conference for the past decade. Before we "collapsed" in those bowl games, we had to make it through the Big 10. That includes you losers.
The omission of facts by OSU....it never gets old....
OSU '10 bowl appearances' ie osu code to avoid saying we went 4-5 (Oregon loss pending)
- Humiliating blowout loses to Florida and LSU not to mention losses to Texas and mighty South Carolina....twice.
-Is an osu fan really bragging about BCS appearances???? I figured even bucknuts would be embarrassed to bring up BCS. Win over mighty Kansas State and ND (but frankly- who hasn't beaten overrated ND in bowls the past 15 years or so). Yeah you beat Miami when the officials gifted you the win at the end. Frankly should have been another L.
You nicely include PSU's worst 5 years in the history of the school in your selective stats. Lets go back to '93 or so since PSU joined the small minded B11-

On behalf of the rest of the B11- PLEASE stop "carrying" the conference. We can't afford any more of your 'greatness'.
I apologize to the LSU posters that this osu-PSU garbage has spilled over onto your site but these are the same bucknuts who flood our site every bowl season telling us how we have to root for them "for the conference". Then they go to sites like this and trash PSU.
You'd think a fan base that hasn't EVER (in the history of their self proclaimed greatness) beaten an SEC team would lay low on SEC boards.......
