Why do people care what we pay coaches

Can’t believe I have to explain this, but if we got a DC for 1.3 million we would then have ONE MILLION more dollars to spend improving LSU athletics.

Amazing how people don't understand the economics of cfb

Try to Understand it's almost all profit w not having to play players . If Lsu goes for a lesser D.C. To save 500k it can cost millions

Yea, it’s just that simple. Why not go lower? If we could get one for $300,000 we would have TWO MILLION to spend.

It’s a fricking arms race bro. The money is there to be spent.

In related news, Desert King's season ticket package just went up $2.3 million dollars. But at least they're throwing in this adorable poster:

I personally think we overpaid but maybe Bo coaches like a young feral dog with a 12 inch cock.

way too much money. Contracts should be based on supply and demand, and I don’t know of any other FBS programs lining up to hire him.

We WAY overpaid.

It seems that even mid level assistants can get 500k these days

This.

It’s lunacy what these guys make when the majority of them would be high school coaches and teachers or insurance salesmen otherwise

Most of them aren’t even distinguishable from each other in any way, no measurable results or accountability.

Good work if you can get it but man it’s comical that these guys are the highest paid state employees pretty much nationwide
