Have they done anything to improve on the terrible turf conditions that were apparent in the SEC Championship? We escaped injury but Georgia had several players injured. Maybe this has been covered previously, but I hope this has been corrected with so much at stake.

They've been watering it every day, twice a day.

Reminded me of the Vandy game

Looked like it had to many pellets in the turf. An inordinate amount of pellets were kicked up any time someone tried to cut or drag a foot. Wonder if that made people slide on the surface? Any turf specialists on TR?

They should open the butthole to let the sun in.

You have to be careful opening holes when Pollack is in town.

Yes, in 2 weeks they've completely stripped the turf out, and replaced it with brand new turf, just because some players fell down last time.

The way the rubber works on those turf fields, it has to be moved and replaced every so often. If they feel they need to remove some rubber, they can.

I think there were too many rubber pellets for the sec championship game

Might actually be small advantage for our guys since they just played on it

If I wanted to be a conspiracy theorist I'd say that they did that on purpose to slow us down. But it seemed to affect UGA more than us.

Based on the fact that they were flying everywhere.
Like mud flies when you're on an ATV going through mud puddles.

It’ll never be ready in time.

The amount of rubber pellets that were getting kicked up when players tried to cut. You don’t usually see that, at least not that I’ve noticed. Seems to me it would make for an unstable playing surface.
