Pay him like 6 million dollars. Just give me a coach who knows what the hell he's doing, so I can watch good, fundamental basketball! Of course I'm joking, but watching all of the coaching genius throughout this Tourny on several teams is so god damn frustrating.

LSU is a crap basketball program.

Just about any Big East school is a better job.

Jay Wright coming to LSU would be the football equivalent of Jimbo Fisher leaving FSU for Idaho.

he's in Philadelphia. its basketball heaven.
He does not have to leave town.
the town is full of solid players.

AD should at least ask Jay Wright who to interview.
There are dozens of Philadelphia head coaches in D-1.

He makes $2.5 mil & u think.he wouldn't come to LSU for $6 mil? By the way, Philly has lots of talent but I think Nova only had 1 instate player.

No I don't think any amount would bring him here. He just won a title so I'm assuming he gets a raise. He isn't leaving that situation to come to a shite school like LSU

Lsu wouldn't invest that type of money into the program... They are in the bottom of the SEC paying Jones roughly 1.1 mil

I guess everyone forgot to read my disclaimer that I was joking. None of these top tier coaches will leave their programs for LSU, obviously.

Trent Johnson - an "X's and O's" coach who can teach a crappy offense and couldn't recruit for shite

JJ - a recruiter who I'm not sure actually knows what an offensive set is.

Is it that hard to get someone who can recruit with a basketball IQ above 80?

Big coaches have big egos

They don't like to play second fiddle, and football is king at LSU

Actually a friend, who is a big Nova fan, told me about two years ago that many Nova fans (= Nova's rants?) wanted to fire Jay Wright because Nova never passed second round in NCAA Tournament since 2009.

LSU will never be on par with those traditional basketball schools.
Wright would never come here.
If anything the NBA will come calling and I could see that move or taking over for a Duke or UNC one day, but he may just be happy enough to stay at Nova now.

He does not want to come here and listen to a bunch of overweight guys in LSU toonces hats and cargo shorts whom which never once attended a class at LSU (90% of the rant) critiquing his coaching ability.

He's a Philly guy. If he didn't leave for the 76ers a few years ago, before they were as terrible as they are now, he's not ever leaving nova.

Definitely not for LSU

Dale Brown once had us on par and eventually ahead of Ky. Don't say it can't be done because it can be done.

When you limit yourself you limit what you can do, and when we hired Jones that's exactly what Alleva and the Brown mafia did.

LSU can be good in hoops. That's been proven.
