This shocked me because Paxton Kling is the most St. Amant name ever. Maybe Dutchtown. There are dozens of Klings in Ascension Parish.

I love how a Dylan Crews/Alex Bregman type prospect withdrew his name from the draft and the morons on this board are trying to make little league name jokes take it to the OT

A couple of interesting articles on Paxton Kling...
"He's a 5 Tool Guy"
"He is an Incredible Athlete"

Hell yeah! Could potentially be a first big domino to get other guys following suit.

Huge get.

Not sure I see him staying 2 more years if he does stay for this next one even, I did say post Crews in the OF.

Also not sure he ever plays the outfield with the guys we have who are more true outfielders than he is. Jobert is more a DH or 1st baseman type.

Assuming Dugas is going pro he should be a Day 1 OF starter with Crews & Pearson

Kid would have been drafted early but not first round(Could have been as early as the 2nd round though). He is betting on himself. You have to respect that.

He was absolutely a first round pick before he made his signabilty concerns known.

Are we expecting Dugas to go pro at this point?

Definitely betting on himself. He’ll be a draft eligible sophomore and potential top 10 pick in 2 years after balling out in BR.

LSU baseball is having an Aggie football like offseason and I am here for it.

Trying to sort out the lineup is head scratching. All that matters is stockpiling as much elite/high end talent as you can and let the fall sort it out

Man, when I read the 'withdrawals' I thought he was having a breakdown before the draft; figured out you meant to say 'withdraws'.

He wasn't going to be a first round guy, but an early pick. No scouting services had him in the first round. They don't make rankings biased off signability.
