Do people like you even enjoy watching sports?

You melt at the first sign of adversity.
You want a National Champion winning, multiple title game appearance coach fired because he doesn't meet YOUR insane expectations
And for example, we go down one run last night and this board wanted everyone fired.

How is any of that enjoyable entertainment?

WHY are you even here???? No one is bad-mouthing Les so there's got to be a good reason you crawled out from under your rock.

I came here hoping to see people excited about the accomplishment only to see the same catastrophe assholes shite in the punch bowl like they do with every sport.

Red last night when we were down 1: "Pulmonary is on track to fk the pooch here in this game!"

I can't imagine watching sports and having the mindset that everything that doesn't happen the way I wanted it to is because the coach is the worst person on earth.

That is the LSU fan psyche.

Yes but the point is moot. Its not going to happen now or down the road a bit. CPM will have bought himself some more time if he makes it to Omaha.

Now I answered yours...you answer mine.

If FSU comes in next weekend and curbstomps the shite out of us and we look bad in the process.....will you still pledge your undying support to CPM?

and for the record....I went to Hoover and stayed for all games and was there this w/e for the regional.....before anyone accuses me of being a sidewalk fan.

PM "bought" himself more time before this season even began

I don't have "undying" support for anyone or anything but LSU itself. If we get "curb stomped" by FSU it will be unacceptable. I've been plenty critical of how the regular season went at times, but it's ultimately about how the season ends in the postseason.

and herein lies the problem. NO LSU coach should be above question or criticism.....ever!

Not with the $, facilities, and expectations that comes with wearing that LSU emblem on your chest.

Now Paul appears stressed out in the dugout after achieving a great coaching victory.

I think a lot of his stress came from the fact that Southern Miss just would not go away. They just kept fighting and fighting. The top of the 9th last night had me stressed beyond belief, and I was sitting in my chair watching on tv. I imagine being the coach would be a wee bit more stressful.

No such a thing. But I'll never want to fire a coach who makes it to the supers. If we miss a couple years in a row I'll probably be ready for a change

Who exactly do you think LSU fans believe to be above question or criticism?

I had a very good view of our friend Pawl from where I was sitting. He looked like he was about to shite his pants from the 5th inning on.
I personally don't like that "look" on a coach in high pressure situations. It doesn't convey confidence or calmness.

When you make yourself look like a fool constantly on here, and then get proven wrong, you have to try to find a way to bring others down to your level.

I agree. And we aren't keeping coaches because they won a championship 10 years ago, it's always about the current season. It should always be about the current season and one or two years prior at the most

But I think he did a great job at keeping these guys floating when things got rough.

There is no reason to make any excuse. We just went 3-0 and are about to host a super regional.

Criticize coaching moves or plays if you want. This stuff about his facial expressions is just so dumb.

Les was for a good while with a large portion of the fan base.....Paul as well IMO to a similar degree. That 2009 title was a looong time ago.
