I don't have the Finebaum hate that a lot of people have.
But I thought it was kind of funny yesterday when he addressed the point that Alabama has only played like one team that is currently in the top 20 or something like that. He defended them by saying "well, there were teams that were in the top 20 when Bama played them".
I don't know which is the most accurate barometer but it seems like LSU was always judged on the ranking of the teams they had played AFTER the season was over, not when they played them.

You have missed a lot, then. Finebaum has often expressed his disdain for LSU and Baton Rouge as being a cesspool and could not understand why any recruit would go there. He is definitely a fair weather mouth piece in that he will pimp the number one team to gain access to their staff. When he refers to Alabama, he often uses the term "we" as in him being one of them. He has a pecking order of Bama, FL, all the others.

I stopped watching that idiot earlier this year. He really hammered LSU after the Florida debacle. Made me wonder how a "journalist" could be so misinformed. He really is a hack. Should just be on local gump radio.

I agree with him. I worry about our O Lines ability to block that front seven. Not a negatiger just an honest opinion.

Compared to Bama...I hope he's wrong but he could be right. Been LSU's Achilles heel for the last few years against them and will be the key to winning the game for many posters on this board.
Regardless if he's right or wrong....Finebaum is a 90 lb Bama bitch with a 250 lb mouth.

I think he has a reasonable point about the offensive line. It's had injuries and been unsettled. Can't agree though about the defensive line. It has been consistent and at times dominating.

Paul has been a BAMA ball sucker since I moved to Bama with the job 38 years ago. It surprised me since he is from Tenn. If anyone watches him on tv needs to go to Brice in Birmingham for so serious brain tests.

No he isn't. Radio is about understanding your base. Auburn and Alabama is his base. I heard this show before and the majority of his callers are usually Auburn and Alabama fans.
