I think the Oklahoma State coach is more reasonable. Gonna be in a lower tier league after this season. Gonna always be second fiddle to Oklahoma in state. Has outperformed LSU since he got there. Surely LSU could lure a coach from OSU.

LSU fans really don’t care, at least not a lot. There is no softball version of Kim Mulkey who gets viewers on her personality alone. She is the only reason I ever watched a woman’s sport.

Please don't bring the Oklahoma State coach... too much drama with him. Plus, he has too many reasons to stay in Stillwater

What is the drama? All I know is he's been to the WCWS 5 straight years when the school had been once this century before him.

You're right though. Beth is very nice and has no drama. Finishing around .500 in the SEC, being seeded 9-16 nationally, and losing either a regional or super regional every season is fine.

I’d rather put that money in NIL somewhere. It’s softball, who gives a shite

Two best softball teams all year, Oklahoma and Texas, coming to SEC. There is no way Gasso goes to LSU, or any other SEC program, with Oklahoma now in SEC.

That's the way I feel about men's and women's basketball.

She’s not leaving OU. Best LSU can do is make OU pay more for her.

I'm close family friends with the current WCWS most outstanding player who transferred from Okla State to OU... I know a lot of stuff that I can't say here... we do have 2 transfers on LSU team from there and I'm sure they don't have anything nice to say. LSU won't get another penny from me if we would hire him... including football and I've been a season ticket holder for 38 years.

Plus I've never said that our conference record is fine... I want our results to be the best every year and am disappointed when they aren't.

I’m not sure LSU cares that much about softball. I know I don’t.

She has a built end advantage of playing at home for every college World Series. Don’t get me wrong they are very impressive but it is a huge advantage.

Why are people so insistent on throwing money into sports that never have a chance to turn any sort of profit?

T&F produces Olympians. I get that.

WBB produces Angel Reese. I guess if you're one of the literal dozens that are into that.

Softball produces warehouse managers and content for Theo Von. That's it.

One thing I've NEVER heard or SEEN....is a womens' coach/administrator openly acknowledge/thank the mens football/basketball/baseball team for all that 'funding' that keeps flowing their way....LOL !

Support for softball, especially LSU, has grown over the years. With the notoriety the LSU baseball team has, I feel like we should try to strive for the same results in softball. Softball needs to create the same lure that baseball has.
