You do realize when school is on holiday, a lot of students (even those that are from BR) go out of town? Even if it’s just an hour down the road to nola, they aren’t staying put to attend an LSU basketball game.

How old are you? In state or out of state most kids go home on break. I did. Add that to the fact that it’s Mardi Gras weekend, an event that I’m sure has no appeal to out of state college aged kids. You know that Arky football game attendance on the day after Thanksgiving is always pretty subpar. Should we expect students to hang around on thanksgiving as well?
Of all the things to bitch about on the Rant, were bitching about student attendance at a basketball game on Mardi Gras weekend.

I love how everytime the student section doesn't show up (which is 95% of the games) there is always some excuse.

I was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. This is once a year. There are many more chances to go see an LSU basketball game in seats so far away nobody can see us on camera.
