Pathetic management of the offense

1st and 3rd with nobody out. Fake bunt steal with Duplantis to force the corners to crash...Robertson just would have stayed behind 3rd baseman and catcher would throw down or held on to the ball. We most likely get 2nd and 3rd nobody out.

Or safety squeeze with Duplantis.

Got to get the runner in. Sac fly, or steal to avoid double play. Hit and run not the right call

Couldn't agree more. Sitting here screaming same thing to my wife.

Jeopardized the tying run for no reason. Hit and run the guy on first, not both. Unnecessary and it bit him in the arse.

You count on Duplantis being a clutch hitter in that situation. If you can't score Robertson on a grounder to the right side, then good luck on a bunt.

Yea Duplantis rarely strikes out or grounds into a DP. You don't bunt him no way no how

No, I probably wouldn't have either, but I would have moved Freeman to second on the first pitch of that at bat.
