Give me some good lakes for that bass fishing brother, I am that way often

They threw beer bottles into the end zone when Fulton made the Int then as soon as they knew it was coming back they started begging for the ball boys to pick them up. Classless trash.

The lower St Johns river, and it's tributaries area is awesome. But their are also numerous lakes in the area between Jax and Gainseville as well. Just check out local experts and prepare to use live bait for bass, something that was totally new to me until fishing there.

I was a grad student at UF from 2005 to 2007 and had to sit through the football and basketball titles. Saturday night was a great feeling. Enjoy this moment!

Had 2 Florida fans sit in front of us they stayed to themselves mostly. Not much cheering and when we scored our last touchdown they graciously shook our hands and left. It did feel good watching them leave before the game was over though

Sat next to two Florida State fans. That’s right, I said Florida State. I asked them if they came all the way here roof agianst Florida and they said “hell yeah, watching Florida get their asses whipped in the real Death Valley was better than watching us get our arse beat in the fake one”. I bought them a beer for that answer. They were a blast. Cheered for LSU and cussed Florida the whole game. Said they haven’t had this much fun on a football Saturday in quite some time and that they’d be back.

The St Johns River and lake George have great bass fishing. Near Gainesville, Newnan’s Lake has an area called the ring of fire on the north side that is epic. It’s a spring that is circled by lily pads. Fish the pads and the bass lay under them.
I also hear that Orange lake which is between Gainesville and Ocala has really improved. It had very low water for years but it is much fuller and the bass are hungry.
Gainesville has a pro shop called The Tackle Box. Go there and talk to Gary. He is a legend in the area.
I grew up in that area. Great memories fishing with my father in those areas.
Gators are arrogant and sore losers.

Yea man, I brought my tackle box full of artificials, which is the usual for Louisiana bass fishing, and the guys there kinda laughed at me, we use live bait here... It was like sacalait fishing but on a greater scale. Good times!

TL:DR
I knew a guy that was a Gator. He had that hardcore, a-hole Gator attitude. I went in to work on a Saturday morning during football season. LSU was playing that night and I was trying to get a good jump on a project. There were about 6 of us that had come in. The Gator was not there. He had let us know that some relative of his was a Bull Gator (Big donor) and had comped him some choice seats.
He stopped in at work on his way to Gainesville. He walked in, wearing a pair of khaki shorts and hiking boots. He then had on a white golf shirt that had huge orange and blue stripes on the shoulders. He also had on a shitty mesh cap, matching the colors of the shirt.
I did not see him walk in. The first guy to see him was a Jewish guy with no care at all about football, or any team. When he saw the Gator walk in, he immediately hollered "Heeeeeyy, Pizza's here!!!" The Gator turned bright red and just turned around and left.
I laughed for about ten minutes.
TLDR: A former Gator walked in looking like a Domino's delivery driver. Everyone laughed.

Would be a prestigious job for most Florida fans.

Was it just me, or did an inordinate number of Florida fans play the Bama card once the game was no longer in doubt? I heard “Roll Tide”. And the moron behind me told me that they still have a shot at the SEC Championshio game and we wouldn’t.
I said “fine, then we can back in with one loss without having to play in the SEC Championship game. Just like Bama
How fricking lame is that? We just whipped your arse, so now you’re Bama Dick Riding
