If Dale Brown coached in today's era of one and done, shorter shot clock, and the way they call fouls he would dominate
He coached when most players stayed 3-4 years and thats who he had trouble with in the tourny when he had more talent
Yet he had more success than 90% of CBB coaches in history

Are you serious? When Waters was being super-careless and struggling, Wade had him come off the bench. He started playing MUCH better. In the first part of the season, people were saying Naz was overrated and terrible considering the hype. By the end of the year, TV announcers were saying he should win SEC freshman of the year. When Waters was out for the Tennessee game and Naz was a non-factor due to fouls, Wade kept calling isolation plays for Smart and let him take over the game for the W. Skylar Mays' development has been extremely obvious and extremely valuable.
LSU's excellent free-throw shooting is the mark of a well-coached team that focuses on fundamentals as well. LSU is top 30 in the nation in steals and rebounds (hustle plays) in addition to being top 30 in scoring and free throw shooting. Also, although this team has blown some leads, it has come back from sizeable deficits time and time again late in games and has shown an ability to ignore the scoreboard/clock and keep playing. Those are signs of good coaching.

Antoine Walker on the SEC Network said he thought Wade should have been SEC Coach of the Year. Wade is young and still learning, but when you get your young team to finish 9-0 on the road in the SEC (4 of those Ws against tournament teams), then you've done a damn good job coaching. LSU was picked to finish 6th in the SEC. They won the SEC Championship (and won the biggest game with their best player out).

Lolz.
You don't go 16-2 in the SEC and undefeated on the road in conference play with talent alone. Wade's borderline-psychotic attention to detail, conditioning program, preparation and getting the team to buy in going all the way back to the beginning of the offseason is what made this team what it is.
Will you say anything about the halftime adjustments the team made just about every game all year? The way we improved our rebounding/blocking out as the season went on? How we gutted out tough win after tough win against quality opponents? How we always seemed to win the last 6 minutes of every game? Is that on coaching?
