Someone should tell him watching 1 NCAA tourney game in 1986 then skipping the next 35 years doesn’t mean you’ve been watching for a long time.
Yes. I had to laugh at this one.

I’ve personally been a fan circa 79 as a young kid and have a much better understanding than this tool that thinks his age == intelligence. I almost feel bad for the guy.

You predate me buddy. I remember going to games and watching the 81 team with my dad but I was too young to really understand the game. In 86 is when I really understood the players, their roles and the game because I had been playing basketball at that point and I was hooked.

Yep. And that 86 team and the 87 team afterwards were so fun to watch. I just wanted to state that this dude using his age as some type of gauge to his fandom is ridiculous imo. A lot of us have watched through all the lean years and have some damn perspective.

I remember CJs freshman year when we lost Stanley and Mo to prop 48. Everyone thought we’d finish last in the league and it was easy to get tickets. Someone I knew saw CJ in HS and told me, “forget what people are saying “ to get my butt to the PMAC to watch this guy. So I did and my god I don’t think we’ll ever see that again. I also was there for the twin towers first game against Southern Miss and Mr. Weatherspoon. A buddy of mine who’s dad was a HS coach in the area got us a bunch of tickets so we all went and again were amazed watching 17 year old Shaq move like he did at that size. But you know all this because you’ve suffered and witnessed marvels just like I have. That’s what these assholes will never understand, guys like us fricking love LSU basketball.

The fact that they throw Odell handing out cash on national tv into these stories as part of our ‘improper benefits’ is just laughable.

All the yesses. I attended LSU starting in 89, but was in pre-enrollment and actually met CJ in the PMAC while he was enrolling for his Sophomore classes. And met Shaq on the visit standing like a giant outside of Fred’s. I had been a fan for years, but that’s who we are.

frick these assholes. We’ve been in threads just hoping to make the NCAAT or just winning a fricking game.

Met CJ and got his autograph getting to the PMAC extra early for the Illinois game. Vernell came and met us but said he didn’t give autographs which was weird. Sat next to Mr. Harrison for the UGA game Shaqs last season and he was awesome. We lost the game but he took us right outside the locker room to wait for Shaq so we could meet him. Shaq was pissed about the loss and didn’t wanna meet anyone but his dad told em “these boys sat with me and have been waiting for an hour to meet you, now go say hi”. Shaq walked up with a big smile and was as nice as can be. He signed all our stuff, he even got Clearance C. to come over and talk to us with him for a little while. I met Shaq one more time a couple years ago at a gas station in Lafayette, of course he didn’t remember me and I didn’t ask if he did but he took a picture with me and was first class as always. We maybe a “cult” but it’s about those guys who represent LSU not anyone person in particular.

These guys get paid to report and now days they’re paid to get clicks which means they need to constantly report whether it’s news or not.

Maybe there’s nothing here but maybe not.

That’s so good baw. Asshats like this loser and others think it’s a CWW cult and they’re terrible in that thought. We’ve been here throughout. I personally thought TJ was a good hire. Of course I wanted CJJ to be successful, but the writing was on the wall, still rooting all along.

I use the word perspective a lot, because it’s important to me. They have none.

They’ve only watched those outlier seasons in March and started watching this year because we got off to a fast start. Like you said they have zero perspective because they have no idea what wasted talent really looks like.

Agree, but LSU should have a better person in the basketball office. Fans on this board keep repeating that Wade is better than his predecessors. But, DiNardo was better than Archer and Hallman, did we keep him for that sad-arse reason?

Not your sorry arse again.
EXACTLY 1 SEC TEAM has been a top 5 seed or higher in the SEC Tournament the past 5 seasons.

Wade’s team went to the sweet 16. Your daddy fricked that up and got his needle nosed arse fired. Your fat arse daddy O caused Cregg and the other allegations in the football program.

You can’t take it that Wade is a winner and I will take a ban bet if Scott Woodward fires him because this board and the fans will have his arse run if he does that. Bruce Pearl and others are still coaching.

frick off.

“But muh the tapes, the FBI”

It’s comical how ignorant these people are. What’s worse is they think everybody else is as stupid or more than they are.

What are the specifics of him being on tape saying? A silly phrase without any other substance? Again, where is the actual proof or evidence?

Have you read the stuff he has said over the years?

Calling him scum does not equate to anger. The guy is pretty terrible, but it's not making me angry to think that of him.
