Linebackers on crossers have been our problem, but we didn't have Mike Jones out there vs UCLA either so...

I actually think we have the players to have a really good defense. Once Sage Ryan is healthy, Ward heals up, and Smith, Roy, and Little are used HEAVILY in the rotation, LSU will be looking good there.

One thing to note on the sack number. 6 of those came from a LB or S. Mizzou blitzed a lot. I’m not sure lsu has brought more than 4 once this season. So it will be interesting to see if lsu can generate pressure with only 4 against CMU’s oline.
CMU's OL isn't UCLA's OL.

Their QB is not very good and he’s a statue in the pocket. If Maason and Anthony play anything g like they did last week along with Ojulari I think it will be a long night for their passing game. The question will be if we can shut their running game down.

I’m sure there are several G5 teams that could put up a lot of yards on our defense. I don’t think this is one of them. Mac has never been that creative and their QB is going to miss a lot of throws and have a pick or two under pressure.

I’ll take 250, with 1/3 of that coming in the 4th with our backups in.

Wasn't the UCLA tight end a converted wide receiver. Doesn't sound like he could have been all that slow top me.

Did you watch any of the CMU Mizzou game? Not impressed in the slightest, and it was a noon game at MIZZOU. I won't pretend like we're going to slaughter them, but if the kid throws for over 250 it would mean multiple massive busts in coverage.

From what I've seen in film, they have some backs that can be dangerous if given space. If Baskerville, Strong, and Jones continue to show improvement then I think we win without drama.

Weather makes me think neither team does much offensively.
