What difference does it make what color the player is ?

I’m black and I think your comment comes off poorly

All of you "sky is falling" jackasses are something. I am not happy with the trajectory of things at the moment, but the defense isn't as bad as you all make it out to be.

If their QB gets 325, it will be because he got there in garbage time after LSU has secured victory.

I described the player that thrashed our defense. It is factual that he’s white. It makes no difference, it’s a physical description. The fact that you are offended is absurd.

Nothing to do with the sky falling. It’s taking an objective non-fan analysis of what you’ve seen in the first two games. If you really think that they’re not capable of throwing for 300 yards then please let me know why.

I’m not offended. My apologies I’m just on edge with all this. Our football program is falling apart and it hurts

I saw the first game, but I also saw the second game. There was improvement in the 2nd game.

They are capable of throwing for over 325 yards. But if I had to BET, I would take the under. The defense showed signs of life and a good pass rush. We still have lock-down corners. We seemed to fix some of the alignment issues from the first game.

I don't think our defense is as bad as the UCLA game and I don't think we are as good as the McNeese game. We are somewhere in the middle.

I remember you retards set Cody’s O/U total at 280 last week.

Mizzou sacked Simon 9x in Week 1.

How many yards did he throw for with those 9 sacks?

Depends, do they have a slow, white TE that can run crossing routes? If so, strong and Clark will give up 350 easy

I think youre referring to uclas te. If so, he wasnt slow by any stretch. He took long strides that may have made him look slower, but he covered ground pretty quickly. He has been electronically timed at a 4.6 40 yard dash...thats pretty fast. Uclas tight end was pretty good and is known as one of the best tight ends in the nation, actually. Ucla is a pretty good team. Lets give credit where its due and not make it seem like theyre a run of the mill pac 12 team. They will be a threat to win their conference and it woukdnt surprise me if they end up in a ny6 bowl. That is still no excuse for our shitty performance in that gam.

I’m gonna tell y’all that CMU is not McNeese…. LSU better be ready for this game…. All this looking at the sideline before the play has got to be corrected… One good factor is that LSU should be able to run the ball… AND The CMU coach knows what he is looking at when he sees this LSU team… player on player wise???? LSU should win like they did last week. But there are a lot of concerns to look at.

He’ll be over 350 yards. The LSU defense will be confused and basically run into each other out of confusion. Hopefully he mixes in some picks. I have no faith in the players or the coaches at this point. I hope I am wrong and they get it together, but I’ve been hoping that since 2020.

One thing to note on the sack number. 6 of those came from a LB or S. Mizzou blitzed a lot. I’m not sure lsu has brought more than 4 once this season. So it will be interesting to see if lsu can generate pressure with only 4 against CMU’s oline.

Generating pressure with 4 hasn’t been an issue.

We had 4 sacks VS UCLA.

UCLA put us on our heels by running the ball down our throats and then fricking hitting us with PA

If they can, it’s definitely going to be Under.

He threw for 295 with Mizzou blitzing a bunch, so if we can pressure with 4 (and a 5th every now and then) he will easily finish below 280.

I just don't see McElwain not running crossing route after crossing route until we stop it. He's not going to be intimidated by the atmosphere. Throwing for 295 against any SEC team is an accomplishment, and it should give you pause about saying our defense will shut them down easily. The weather should help at least.

Since Mike Jones is coming from a DB to a LB role here, I hope we can work him in more.

Dude should be better in coverage due to his experience than what we have starting at LB.
