Passing Yards for CMU's Jacob Sirman Against LSU

Sirman (6'5 230) was a four-star 2018 Washington signee (Rivals 5.9 rating; 7th rated pocket-passer). Transferred to CMU this season after limited action for Washington.
Threw for 295 yards in CMU's 24-34 loss to Missouri. He did throw two picks. Threw three touchdown passes against Robert Morris last Saturday.
I'd set Sirman's over/under at 325 against LSU on Saturday. What are you taking? He has a couple of capable receivers and a tight end who are returning All-MAC selections. If CMU can run on LSU at will, of course, then Sirman's passing numbers may suffer.

Depends, do they have a slow, white TE that can run crossing routes? If so, strong and Clark will give up 350 easy

Unless the crossing routes become an issue again (let’s hope the actual got that fixed), I’d say under. We have shutdown corners and our DL will be all over him so I think he will struggle to throw with consistency.
I’m not sure how well they run the ball but to me that’s the underbelly of this defense. Our DL is built to rush the passer and our LBers and Safeties are prone to being in the wrong gaps.
Had UCLA not been gashing us on the ground, I don’t think they’d have had much success through the air. They found wide open guys cuz our D was so focused on trying to stop the bleeding on the ground. And the crossing routes of course…

Will get crushed by Maason and Co.

I wonder if LSU is going to try to blitz any or just get pressure with the front 4.

Give me the under all day long.
How much are we betting?

What's racist about it?

Nothing…. Gee if WE only used our tight end like that.

I think we will break him in half with the pass rush

Linebacker play, particularly communication and switching off on the crossing and mesh routes, was greatly improved from UCLA to McNeese. Our biggest issues in pass coverage are screens to the outside (nickel and box safety tend to crash in on the OL action and leave some risk to the outside screen route).
I don't love the deep safety coverage so far with Ward out, but I think we'll be okay there. Our outside CBs are the best tandem in the country.
I think we'll be okay against Sirman this week. I also think we'll put more pressure on him with the interior DL push than he saw in his last two games.

You’re setting the over under for Central Michigan’s QB to be 325 yards on us Saturday? I would put it at like 210. Am I the only one who thinks we take care of business pretty handedly Saturday?

Definitely over. Our shredded cheese defense is stopping him

I remember you retards set Cody’s O/U total at 280 last week.
Mizzou sacked Simon 9x in Week 1.
Under, again.
