Crowd was loud during the comeback but it took us getting down by 18 to wake up. We need to be loud from the start. But maybe now we can understand how a crowd can effect the game. Because they were definitely part of the comeback

After cutting the lead to 13 halfway through the second half was the loudest the PMAC was all year and it was awesome. The energy in that building the whole rest of that half most definitely energized the team.

Facing the largest deficit on the season of 18 points, everyone was still in that building and supporting the team. In a time of desperation and when things were looking bleak, the fans brought the energy that everyone here is always bitching about not being there. You can complain about the atmosphere all you want, but when the boys needed it most, the fans rose to the occasion

That was an awesome game, even though we came up short. Arkansas shot lights out and we still almost found a way to pull it out. This month is about to be some of the most fun and high level ball we’ll have this season. Everyone strap on their seatbelts

I was there. Chirping at Arky, trying to get fans involved, looking like a jackass probably. Don't give a frick. Don't give a frick about the downvotes. That wasn't good enough. If you were at the game and you think that was good enough you are complacent. This team is going dancing, figure it out.

I was there and I have been going to games religiously for the past 20 years. That was as loud as I have heard it in years. My damn throat is hurting. A shame we lost because that kind of environment can't be beat.

The players were trying to get the crowd to make noise during the comeback. The TV coverage showed the stands and the crowd was just sitting on their arse doing nothing. It was pathetic.

No they don't. They're gone by halftime.

The old farts in the 100s
I have been called out. If the current students were half as rabid as their parents and grandparents were when they used to sit in the student section, we wouldn't have to have a dozen threads like this every game. That said, the atmosphere improved tonight when we had something to cheer about down the stretch.

Are you calling out those that have continued going and been season tickets through the lean years?

Was a student in the early 2000s and attended a lot of games in the Brady era. Went to a few Trent Johnson and CJJ games. Been a time or two the last two years and was there tonight.

Atmosphere is not comparable to how it was in the 2000s and this student section sucks. We would yell and dance all game. I did my part tonight, but it’s got a long way to go to be how it use to be.

When LSU started the comeback, that was as loud as I’ve heard it since the recent Kentucky/Oklahoma games

I love how our fans think a place should be rocking no matter how the game is going.when a team is shooting over60% it is deflating. We haven’t played a good team at home yet. The 2nd half the crowd was great. The team needs to play better especiallyagainst mediocre teams.

On the radio it sounded pretty loud those last 10 minutes, but on TV it wasn’t. All those old people were sitting the last 2:00 even when Arky has the ball. That’s when the team needs the crowd the most and we weren’t contributing to the energy and passion
