For those of us old enough to remember, QB Bert Jones and LSU had a falling out (though not at this level) that lasted for years.
Eventually they kissed and made up and now Bert’s jersey will be honored this season.
We need to chill and let emotions settle here. JD5 will return to the fold eventually.

Bert Jones clashed quite a bit with Charlie Mac during his playing days here. Bert was a pure pocket passer, whereas Mac favored a more mobile option-oriented skill set in his QBs.
