I see the first quarter being a little rough. With them having seen live action the week before its going to take us a bit to get into the groove. BYU scores early touchdown and we come out slow. Second half we dominate on defense and look solid on offense.

I really wonder about some of you guys - must be Bama fans !!!!
I don't see a slow start - I see #5 hitting on about a 62 yard TD early !!!

Love it. If this happens the game could get out of hand early to my drunken delight, I just think that with them having seen action the week before it will take a drive or 2 to get up to game speed especially on the lines resulting in a slower start than we would like. I don't see this being a huge problem though and think we spank those cougars!!

I want to say JUST over. I truly think for this first game, our offense will be lighting it up. They have the most to prove.
Defensively, they sneak one TD early and then we suffocate them for 3 quarters. Maybe a couple FG's late.

So worst case 24-14 best case 35-6. I think it falls between there so 31-10. These games can go so many different ways in the first one but I just think the Tigers with our staff find a way if its close to pull it all together and go on a run.
We could also be clicking from the get go and if that happens, we could run BYU out of the stadium. Like LSU 49 BYU 13. Not likely but possible. I just think Canada finds a way of not multiple ways to move the ball. Then of course Aranda does his thing. We beat up on people with a very basic offense and defense last season so making it more complicated should give positive results. Factor in an aggressive STs and it could be a long day for BYU. We'll see soon.
People keep saying that BYU has an advantage with playing a game, but you can easily look at it this way. LSU has 2 weeks to prepare for BYU, where BYU has to prepare for another game, only giving them 1 week to prepare for LSU. Basically LSU should be more prepared for what BYU brings then the other way around IMO.
