Nah there's about 20 games that come to mind when talking about CLM.

6 of the 14 teams won at least 10 games this year.
And all 6 are in the TOP 10! So that makes them really average.
Some of you clowns are worthless.

WE DIDN'T FIRE SABAN TO HIRE MILES - Saban quit. Then he quit on his "dream" to be an NFL coach. Miles passed on the opportunity to coach at Michigan.
Another guy who is butt hurt about Saban following his dreams. Get over it, man. He didn't insult LSU by going to the Dolphins. And, he didn't quit. He took a promotion and challenge that he has wanted his whole life. Plus, Saban has said it was a mistake. He says he wishes he would have stayed at LSU, that he had it made here and that it was great.

If 1-9-2012 had gone differently, would there be serious consideration of letting Miles go to Arkansas? Really?
1 football game.
No different than the win in November of '11 doesn't change my thought process. One game doesn't make a difference. Saban has proven more than Miles as a coach. He's been more successful. That is undeniable, no matter how much you are jaded because Saban went to Miami, then Bama.

I think his contract runs through 2017 which puts him at 64 when it expires so an extension should be off the table. I would give him the 5.25 a year if he would agree to a buyout of five million or less. I guess I just hate these ridiculous golden parachutes people get these days.

Doesn't he still get an extra year roll-over pretty much every year that he coaches here? So, he basically has a rolling 5 year contract?

He makes enough money for an average SEC team this season. 6 of the 14 teams won at least 10 games this year.
Geez! The seventh and eighth teams would be the mean. I'm not sure what the average would be, but you'd get that by adding the wins for all teams and dividing by 14. I'm guessing it would be between 7 and 8.

Yall are retarded. He is suppose to be a man of charcater and integrity. He signed a contract worth x amount of dollars laden with incentives for reaching certain goals. He should honor HIS CONTRACT.

So you wouldn't want more money at your job either? It has nothing to do with character. That's a total clown comment and you know it.

$4M only with the caveat that he MUST hire a new OC and get the offense into the top 25 offensive rankings for the NCAA. There is no excuse with the atheletes that we have to keep fielding a bottom 50 offense year over year.

If you add in the 'ugly offense' games where we barely won but were favored by 2 TD's the list is much longer than that.

bullshite. All the Miles lovers constantly talk about how great of a man he is. He signed a contract to coach at LSU. Honor the contract that you signed! He didn't give money back when he went 8-5 & 9-4 did he?

Why the ever loving frick would you do that as an lsu fan? Only if you are trying to discredit wins. Wow. You are really sad. You would shite on the team's victories because you don't like the coach. Unreal.

You are really being serious?
So good men don't try to make more money at their jobs? This is news.
Also name one coach that have money back for down seasons. Which an lsu down season of 8 or 9 wins is pretty much the world to some teams.
Get real man.

I want Les to stay and I want him to be one of the nation's highest paid head coaches. Which he already is. He had a very good season but did not win a championship of any sort. Given the state of the program and what he is already paid, I would call this a "meets expectations" year, so I see no need for a raise.

No yall need to get real. The dude has a great job and makes great money. He doesn't deserve more.

I never once said that he needed to get a raise. But you are making some horrible arguments against it.

I'm a little tired of hearing about les miles's record as the defense of his idiocracy. I know at first this sounds insane (since coaches are measured by wins and losses), but when all things are considered what has Les Miles done that most other coaches wouldn't have during these last 8 years at LSU? Nick Saban handed him the keys to a Ferrari and all Miles had to do was outrun a couple of dodge chargers without wrecking it.
Let's look at Les's award winning moments:
Ole Miss 2009 - It's Jordan's fault. I didn't tell him to spike it??
Tennessee 2010 - WTF?
Tryed to call a timeout after an interception (Tenn 2006) - Have you ever coached or played football before?
Alabama 1/9/12 - No comment needed.
Malveto/palwhatever the frick his name is experiment
The Studrawa experiment - We're gonna fix it.
His understanding of the English language.
But seriously, someone please help me understand him beyond the wins and losses.
Is Les Miles 80% wining percentage more impressive than a 50% winning percentage at Vanderbilt for instance? Wins and losses in college football must be judged in relative terms. This is not the NFL.
Had Tennessee not fired Phillip Fulmer in 2008 (which made John Chavis available) Les Miles would not be our coach today. Chavis has saved his job two times over....."but but Miles hired Chavis". True, but LSU was attractive to Chavis and a monkey could have seen that was the best DC option available.
