1950s
my dad swears up and down that in the late 50's when Ole Miss would play in BR, that every year, Ole Miss would run around the entire stadium with a Rebel flag. When it got in front of the student section, frat stars of 50's would jump out of the student section, and commence to fighting cheerleaders for that flag. TigerTreyjpg

1970 Ole Miss Archie Manning Oranges
Oranges getting tossed onto the field during LSU's 61-17 rout of Ole Miss. Tchefunte Tiger
Also I was sitting right behind Ole Miss bench, they were telling all players to keep helmets on. Archie had just put his on when an orange hit him from way up, put him on his knees...arm in cast n all...Go to Hell Ole Miss spelled out in Kirby Smith dorm room lights... What a game!!! theBru

1984 Tulane Brawl
Tulane cheerleader taking a post-touchdown swing at Eric Martin that led to a game-ending, bench-clearing brawl. Tchefunte Tiger
quote:

You hate to see a college game, any kind of a game end like that, Coach Bill Arnsparger of LSU said after his Tigers had won, 33-15. I advised the officials, Arnsparger said. I said, 'Hey, let's get out of here.' It was ridiculous.

(YEAR?) Tulane Frozen Sugar Cane

1982 Florida State Oranges
Oranges on the field as fog rolled in.

1986 Miami of Ohio Double Bird
Ronnie Lewis "double bird to his own fans" after kicking a field goal. Zephyrius
quote:

When LSU field goal kicker Ronnie Lewis was jeered by the crowd
during the Tigers' loss to Miami of Ohio a fortnight ago in Baton
Rouge, Lewis responded with an obscene hand gesture -- actually he
delivered it with both hands -- as he ran off the field.

Later, LSU coach Bill Arnsparger denied Lewis had done it:
''Ronnie Lewis is a very religious person. His dad is a chaplain for
the U.S. Army.'' And the coach said that maybe it was a high five
gone wrong. How- ever, a photograph in the Baton Rouge
State-Times clearly showed Lewis signing off with vigor. One
observer, trying to be helpful, suggested that Lewis might be
signaling "We're No. 11."

Lewis later apologized. Said the kicker: "My philosophy is that
you've never been at your best until you've been at your worst. I've
been at my worst." Ditto for Arnsparger, who would do well in the
future to emphasize the character-building aspect of the game and
avoid the dissembling.

1993 Tulane Sea of Bourbon & Coke
Curley Hallman's era. Not many there to see it. We were playing Tulane, and a male Green Wave cheerleader took a flag and was running around the entire stadium. When he passed the student section, he was doused with cups. We watched him get back to his partner cheerleaders, and he seemed to enjoy it so he got a couple of buddies and they made the trip again. I was near the bottom of the student section, and as the cheerleaders were nearing the student section I turned around and saw throngs of people running down to the lower section, cups in hand. A sea of coke, crown, and other liquids came raining down on the cheerleaders as they passed with the Tulane flags.Choupique19

1993 Southern Miss Mascot Ice Water Challenge
Curley's last game, Southern Miss whipped us. When the Eagle mascot, Seymour, paraded around near the LSU student section, somebody with the accuracy of Greg Maddux chunked an ice filled cup down from high in the student section and clocked Seymour right in the head. We got the usual response, a double bird back at us, which only lead to more cups being thrown as he ran off. Choupique19

1995 Auburn Whistle Game AU's quarterback Patrick Nix stopped play after a snap in his own endzone because he though he "heard a whistle." it was a fan in the Student Section. Resulted in a Safety. Then intercepted pass on last play of the game led LSU to a 12-6 victory, stopping Aubbie from going to the SECCG that year.

1997 Florida Gator Sign did not go as planned
Student section steals Work 'em Silly sign from 2 Gator fans and rips it to shreds. DreadDub
We always rehash the story here of the 1997 Florida game and the guy who brought the big Gator sign over by the student section and it got stolen. He looked to the cops for help and they just laughed at him. Choupique19

1999 Auburn Cigar Game
Auburn blew out LSU 41–7 during a rare day game in Baton Rouge. In celebration, Auburn players and coaches smoked cigars on the field at Tiger Stadium

2000 Alabama Streakers
Two fans ran on field during a tv timeout and mooned the Bama sidelines. Choupique19
This one was truly epic. A packed house, the refs taking about 30 years to decide whose ball it was, the LSU players pointing to the video screens and clear evidence that it was LSU's ball...and then here come these two dudes with hard hats on and golden shakers under their hard hats and nobody is really noticing or stopping them because they're trying to figure out what's what..and then BAM! It was hilarious. I wouldn't normally condone that, but even Saban said on his show that he should probably thank the streakers because he said it woke the crowd up after the long delay and that fired the team up as they went on to win and end the drought against Bama at home. Big EZ Tiger
The bama mooning incident was hilarious because they actually slapped their asses as the turned back and forth toward the fans.notiger1997

2001 Auburn Eye Stomp Game
Auburn kicker vs the band for LSU. Damon Duval was Auburn's kicker. Game was postponed until 12/1/01 because of the 911 attacks. This was the game Auburn was penalized 15 yards for stomping on the Eye of the Tiger before the game started. Red Stick Tigress
Onside kick to open game was perfect reply. Tubbs' reaction was priceless.Garmisch Tiger

2004 Oregon State Streaker
Streaker during the Great Monsoon of 2004 against Oregon State. Best part was when cops were walking him off the field in cuffs, a woman cop ran over to hand him some clothing... she placed a hat on his head. Choupique19
I've covered the streaker before. He was a new PhD student at LSU from the far North East US. His first game in TS and a new buddy of his convinced him 'it would be fun' if they both did it and tricked him into running out solo. All is well now. With some stern warnings from Moreau and LSU plus probation, he went on to get that PhD and resides in BR with wife and kids. mikelbr

2005 Auburn
John Vaughn's 5 missed field goals for Auburn...that game was insane.TheChosenOne

2007 Florida
USC loss announcement. i thought Death Valley was gonna leave the ground. TDTGodfather

After LSU students found Tebow's number before the game and left hundreds of messages, Tebow ran in a TD, ran to the student section, mimicked a cell phone with his hand and told the students to call him. LSU had the last laugh. Tebow dialed up three TDs but LSU won 28-24. Chicageaux14

Tebow cries on the sidelines. geauxtigahs87

2008 Alabama
RJF blocked game winning field goal against Bama in Saban's first trip back to Tiger Stadium. We ended up losing in OT, but place exploded after that block. TheChosenOne

2010 TN
We lost as time expired. No wait, 14 men in the endzone. We WON

2011 Florida

2014 Sam Houston State

Was probably one of the greatest things I've ever seen in my life. I love shite like that.

I know, I know. Taunting is bad. Poor sportsmanship.

I don't care. It adds to the drama. It makes the game more exciting.

Hands down one of my favorites. I was still a kid at the time and thought it was just about the funniest thing I've ever seen

I'm gonna say both of the Hallman era student section stories were 1993.

We always rehash the story here of the 1997 Florida game and the guy who brought the big Gator sign over by the student section and it got stolen. He looked to the cops for help and they just laughed at him.
