re: Out of morbid curiosity, does anyone know why Robert Miller is "unavailable" today?

Not a good look for McMahon having multiple players now just flat out quit on him, 1 mid-season
Remember Tyrell Ward just flat out quitting going into last season?
So many warning signs there

Robert Miller and his lack of development is a main reason this team is terrible. $1 mil for a dude who can’t rebound or score or defend.

None of our players are developing so it’s not a isolated Miller issue of not developing

radio said it was team rules

Well when the coach is 17-55 and spends all game with his arms folded showing no emotion I can see why guys wouldn’t follow team rules

Then again who knows. This wouldn’t be the first vague absence in the McMahon era (Williams, Cook, Ward come to mind.)
Draconian departures create moribudancy.

Ward had mental health issues, but you can't be hones t so intent on throwing shite at McMahon.

You dont think Jalen Reese has improved?
Last yr you didnt think Reed improved (before injury) between yr 1 and 2?

McMahon did a lot to get Ward to come back for a 3rd year, again that is on him if he decided to quit for whatever reasons. If he had these issues, why try to even get him to come back so hard and count on him as a starter basically only to have quit before the season started. It was widely reported Ward was thinking of leaving but McMahon convinced him to stay then we got no more out of him past sophomore season anyways.
Ward is at VCU playing this season now

There are many examples like this where we never really get an explanation and there is not real media coverage dedicated to men's basketball so the questions never get asked and the interest is so low that there is little interest in finding out so we never really get clear answers.
Not sure if this is another example of that, maybe the announcers gave a reason?

Pretty obvious isn't it? Wants nothing to do with the current coach and no reason to risk his career for McFly. He'll probably be gone next year.

He's not playing all year then deciding the 15 minutes he'd get in the SEC tournament is too much a risk. Ben Simmons didn't even opt out the SEC tournament and he actually had a NBA future on the line and clearly was done with LSU.

Well yeah

They said on the radio that he violated a team rule.
Posted on 3/11/26 at 2:06 pm to geauxpurple
Violate team rules. you deserve to be suspened and left at home. No single player is above the team. Yeah. would've/could've he had helped. YES. but not at the expense of the team.
I applaud CMM for doing what he did

Not noticeably.
Mike Williams got worse.
Miller did not improve at all
If Ward got any better at all he would not have lost his job to fricking Dji Bailey

What about Nwoko?
2.7pts per game to 13.3. Is that improvement?

6.7 last year at Mississippi St.
Propped up by averaging 6 more min per game and a historically weak Non conference slate

Nwoko, Mckinnon, Reece all improved this year as did DJ. The stupidity and hate on here is hilarious. And Miller has been starting to show the last few games of the year. He would have made a huge difference today. You do know you can be for Mcmahon being fired without saying stupid things right? Like Reed and DJ being lost for the year had nothing to do with the record. LOL. Or all 3 being out is just an excuse for losing to KY. I mean really dumb s**t.

I imagine that it’s tough breaking away from a cult. It’s okay. We forgive you.

The McMen view improvement through a different lens than the Wade group, Wade took kids and made them better and developed them into nba players.
