So obviously best case is 4-1 heading into Ole Miss.

You almost have to be 4-1 going into that for the full Tiger Stadium. I still hold to the fact that we will beat Ole Miss. I don't care how fricking bad we are. I don't care if we lose to UCLA and USCe, we are beating Ole Miss. I've seen this story too many times.

We play three ranked teams on the way to our eventual playoff berth. I'm not saying it's gonna be easy. But it's doable. We can drop one more game.

The running game HAS to form. It's a fricking shame that Emery is injured again. He looked to be the guy.

But the O line WILL improve. They have to. And BK is still a good enough coach to stay above 8 wins with ease. We just have to take 2 of Bama, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss. And we ain't losing to Lane. I also think we take Bama.

Well, if we take Bama and Lane. We sure as hell beat OU.

Regardless of some people’s overreactions to a game against Nicholls, this is almost guaranteed.

Yep, win our big games at home. Our defense was good enough against USC to beat either of those teams. Unless we totally flop against Ole Miss, I’ll keep saying this is a 10-2 team

And ND fans told us that. We didn’t listen

Beat South Carolina or you can kiss 10 wins goodbye

Well, no shite. Lose that game and we can kiss 9 wins goodbye. Probably 8. But beat South Carolina, and we put ourselves in a great position to beat Ole Miss at home. Win THAT, and 10-2 is very possible. We’ll see. Season starts Saturday. And will start again each Saturday as long as we keep winning.

It's really weird how easily y'all dismiss a trap game on a short week after a road game suffering jetlag.

I want to believe, but this team looks like 7-5. We have to win this weekend to have a shot at a decent year.

I wouldn’t call and FCS opponent a “trap game” but I do agree that the jet lag had an affect

lol, a trip to and from Vegas isn’t jet lag. I don’t even consider Europe to be a jet lagged trip. That’s Asia.

Oh lawd, how will they deal with the one hour time change to Carolina? Woe is me.

Ole Myth, Bama, Aggies. Oklahoma. Don't overlook Florida on the road either. We have to develop a semblance of a running game. If we don't, this could go south fast. I want to be wrong....but I'm not.

Hope you're still laughing in a couple of weeks....I'll gladly come back and laugh with you. Just don't have a good feeling right now. Even if we win this weekend, schedule gets a lot tougher.

Even after USC, I was still optimistic that we could get to a 10-2 record.

After watching the Nicholls and losing Guillory, there is absolutely no shot. I would love to be proved wrong.

Contrary to what BK said in the presser today, we cannot run the football.

21 attempts for 64 yards against an FCS opponent.

We will have to have a run game vs Ole Miss, Bama, OU, and A&M to give our defense a break.

This weekend will be a big test.

If I am USCe, I rush 4, drop 7. Makes us prove that we can beat someone by running the football.

I still think the OU game will be a playoff elimination game for both
