I definitely think OU is better. On a neutral court if I had to pick between playing A&M or Oklahoma I'd pick A&M every day. There's just something about home court in college basketball that makes things extremely difficult

I drove through Oklahoma on my way to Omaha last year...have never smelled a worse smell than I smelled in that smelly state last year.

From the OU board

quote:

I seriously doubt this will happen anytime soon. Perhaps you're not aware of the many OU fans who have reached out to Joe C to let him know they are open to a home-home series with every major power in college football EXCEPT LSU. I don't have first-hand experience dealing with them, but their reputation seems to be earned. During football season, I turned on a game which LSU was at Syracuse. I texted my nephew who goes to school there and asked him if he was at the game. I also mentioned the "reputation" of LSU fans. His text response? "OMG they're awful. All they're doing is talking trash to our fans. I've never seen anything like this at a home game."

They must be afraid of the piss balloons. Also must have missed all the folks in Syracuse that said they had a great time with us up there and were going to cheer for us the rest of the way.

Must not get out of Norman much...

Oklahoma fans still haven't gotten over losing the game in the stadium and on Bourbon Street in January 2004. They're still mind fricked and they made up so much stuff that LSU fans did to them, and they were scared to come here for the Super Regional in 2013. And they went back home with more fake stories about what LSU fans did to them.

I wish I could upvote this thirty times

Oklahoma fans are unique because they enjoy trashing other fanbases more than cheering for their own squad. If we have a problem with our fanbase being too negative about coaches all the time (Negatigers), they have a problem with an inferiority complex despite having a storied football program and being decent at other sports in the past

I will say I have been to several LSU sec home games and the "fans" in nola are not a good representation of true LSU fans .. they are the nola lsu fans and that is not really the same thing ...

Wait what?!? The homeless gentleman on Bourbon St. who asked you where you got your shoes is not a real LSU fan.
