No, no he wasn't.

"We'd take into consideration this young person's age -- this pitcher's age, he was 15 when it started -- but he would go to prison in Oregon. He'd go to the juvenile correctional facility. It's a Measure 11 crime, it carries a mandatory minimum sentence. If he had been sentenced when he was 15 in Oregon, he would still be in prison finishing his sentence. That's how significant it is.

I've read that story.
Obviously, you have not.
Give it a try.
I'll help you out. He was facing 40 weeks in a juvenile facility in WASHINGTON. Prison is a minimum 1 year and 1 day with zero chance of getting out sooner and being with adults.
In a juvenile detention center there was a great chance he would be released before his 40 weeks was up. And he would be with OTHER under 18 year old kids.
Next....
Eta....Boom, and mic drop.

Yeah dude The jurisdiction isn’t Oregon

Why were people defending him in another thread? Something about the family making it up? That sure sounds awful.

I’m sorry I shouldn’t of used the word prison if I knew you would try to dissect the point.
You’re finally right about something, congrats!
He was actually sentenced to 40 weeks and it was suspended when he finished probabtion. All part of the plea deal
I wouldn’t act like an a-hole and assume you dropped a mic on anyone. That’s actually kind of comical that you immediately think you trump the topic with one word mistake difference.

This guy is arguing a case that he clearly knows very little about.
Luke is from Puyallup, WA. Where the case started.
That story he linked just shows how much more serious Oregon would take that case and what would've happened had it happen in Oregon.

Dude calm down. I over looked the article.
Don’t be an a-hole.

I don't think that, however I know I'm actually standing on solid ground while you are in quicksand.
Get back to me when you are up on the case and actually know what's going on. K, baw?

Yea I realized I search for an article I had seen and over looked that.
The point was he was sentenced to 40 weeks in a “dentention center” not prison. That’s what I was debating. Pretty silly piece of information concerning the topic, but I can deal with it.

I'm actually not. You're just a little perturbed you were had.

Explain how I am in quick sand with anything I said today?
And I don’t need to get back to you, boy. I’m here now, boy.
You want to talk about it, let’s talk now. You haven’t really contributed any evidence to support your opinion, that you consider “solid ground”
Posted on 5/31/18 at 2:26 pm to LSUcajun77
Not really that silly when the argument was whether or not he was punished or if he would have had to face jail time.

How?
I immediately said I was wrong. I don’t owe you anything else.
I thought we were having a discussion and throwing out opinions.
Oh well, have a good day.

We have a he said she said, we literally have no evidence. All we have is a guilty plea. So, how can anyone contribute?

My solid ground comment is that I actually know what the frick is going on. K, boy?

The plea was accepted due to the fact the case would be sealed and dropped from his record
The plea ended up not working though because the state of Oregon or washington fricked up and incorrectly said he failed to follow his agreement(cant remember which state)
I would imagine, he would have a case against that state for potential lost wages but I dont know

There were folks last year saying that MLB already knew about him so that would be tough but what do I know.
