Try some form of truth.

He could have said," we had some obstacles, I made some mistakes, they are on me. We missed on some recruits , that's on me also- I take responsibility for this team and I made a promise to the fans to bring this team to championship status. That is on me and no one else."

If he really meant all the garbage he told us he could have added " and if we don't show drastic improvement this year I will voluntarily submit my resignation."

Stop handling the man with kid gloves, He gets paid millions to do his job- he simply needs to do his job.

I get it but when you look at what Miss st, AUburn, and Georgia was able to do against their line it kind of dilutes it.

We had some depth issues on both lines last year that have been addressed. I don't think we win a Natty with orgeron but there are some areas of improvement to go with the obvious causes for concern.

Defensive line depth and talent should be stellar next year. Offensive line should be at minimum slightly improvement if not marginally improved.

We have a real chance at a top 5 caliber defense if we can figure out a way to manage our cornerback depth issues.

If nothing else, I truly think he believes that. And what’s he supposed to say?

“No, we’re sinking fast.”

I don’t think O is going to sniff a championship, but I do appreciate his efforts in trying to sell the program. Problem is no one’s buying.

So if O doesn’t win a championship in Baton Rouge, that is yet another statement that makes him a liar, correct?

O is a liar though. The whole we wanted to leave spots open for transfers...beet coordinators... He's an empty salesman

And would have been 3 touchdowns if Saban wanted to score. His belief that they were close is embarrassing

They quickly turned on and blamed Aranda for the Notre Dame loss. Never mind the fact that the only reason LSU was in the game was due to the defense.

Aranda is the sole reason LSU even made it to 9 wins

What did he say that is not true? Everything he said was correct. People think our program is so far off, when things clearly aren't near as far off as they think. Geaux tigers.

Look at the progress uga made in one off season. We can do the same. We have talent and I like our staff. The main thing is we have a qb that can pass the ball and make every throw on the field. You will see how big of a difference a qb makes to a team this season. I'm expecting Brennan to do very well and be head and shoulder's above what we have had the past several seasons.

Hey Coach "O"....how dare you be positive? You would gain the support of the Rant if you posted miserable, negative comments

I am a witness

If he does we are in bigger trouble than we think. Let's hope he was trying to be encouraging

I doubt he thinks we were close. But we weren't man handled on the lines like the previous 2 seasons. That's something to build on. We had more yards and first downs but didn't capitalize on our opportunities.

I thought O had "tell the truth Monday", which I always assumed meant he was lying every other day.

You do realize he has been the head coach for one season?
