How many folks ready to push Orgeron out the door wanted Hermann or Fisher? Last I saw they still are ranked behind LSU.

LSU should be thankful they got a coach that bleeds Purple and Gold more than any in tesm history. USC made a huge mistake when they did not give Orgeron the chance to remove the interim from his title. With Orgeron's recruiting process, USC would be winning the PAC 12 at this point.

Yes, I think Orgeron made a mistake at OC but the bizarre inabilty of LSU to land the right quarterback has been just as much a problem as Emsinger. And Orgeron has shown an inability to evolve at LSU.

There are tesms that have won national titles such as Nebraska, USC, Texas, and Miami that would kill just to have the national recognition and reputation and coverage LSU has currently. One hears the LSU program mentioned as much as the above 4 programs combined in the national media.

Orgeron has some great things ahead as the LSU head coach.

Fisher just beat Orgeron and Herman is preparing for a conference championship this week. Both of those coaches took over programs in much worse shape than LSU, and Fisher is killing it on the recruiting trail, unlike Orgeron.

Orgeron could go on to be the next Nick saban but it won’t change the fact that the way Alleva habdled to coaching search was an absolute exercise in incompetence.

He bleeds cardinal and gold. If USC came calling, Orgeron would be out like a shot. Rosy Finch Boyz.

Fisher just beat us with a team that you claim isn't as good as ours, so you think that's a win for 0?

Stupid. Both programs were way behind LSU in terms of talent

USC is not upset in the least about not hiring Orgeron. Syracuse didn't want Orgeron. You can count on 1 hand how many FBS teams (I believe there are 130 of them?) that would put Orgeron at the top of their list if he were to leave LSU.

But.. you think they made a mistake "but". Steve E didn't want the job in 2016 and didnt' want the job in 2018. Orgeron had to beg a guy, who hasn't coached an offence in what, 20 years, to be the OC for LSU.

Texas is playing in a meaningful game this weekend. LSU is not in the same breath as Texas. If you are bringing up Nebraska's lack of media attention, you are not complimenting them. USC is a good example, becaues they are just as inept as LSUs administration.

LSU is stuck in neutral until Orgeron is gone. He is not the answer and LSU's administration is content with stability, rather than a home run.

Saying Fisher beat Orgeron based on Saturdays game and that Fisher is outrecruiting Orgeron may be the most asinine thing ever posted on this Forum.

Take away the bad calls and a 7 ot game is a coin toss at best.

What was the final score?
What is Ed’s record vs Jimbo?

What is asinine is suggesting that LSU did not lose last Saturday. We all saw it.

And given what was on the line and what was expected, you can’t even claim a moral victory.

That is irrelevant if he IS the RIGHT hire at LSU. When Bama brought in Gene Stallings, hiw many schools were knocking? Yet he WAS the right hire.
