So has was Scott "strung along until he transferred"? Just what was done by LSU to string him along? Did Harvard string him along by not accepting him for admission? Did the measuring tape string him along by not registering 6'1" ?

He did not have the "measurables" to be a QB according to some, so he got no shot. Eerily similar to Russell Wilson- He was deemed "too small" for QB and benched for Mike Glennon. Who has a Super Bowl ring and who is a back-up now?

Just sad to see that we have little to no QB depth and we let a possible good one go (who fits our OC's system pretty well).

What happened to the Coach O that would tear off his shirt and rally the troops?

UGA seems to be doing fantastic with their Freshmen QB.

We have a lot of bitch made Tiger fans that can't let the ghost of Jarrett Lee go.

Coach speak man....

What he really meant was....with our current OL situation, I don’t want Brennan in there trying to force the ball to well covered WR’s...and giving him the Jarrett Lee syndrome....

So Brennan is not ready but if he was 10 pounds heavier, he'd be good to go?

experience aside........yes if 10 pounds heavier his frame could withstand more abuse. This isn't that hard to comprehend. Do you realize how frail our oline is? I'm trying to help you out here.

What part do you not understand that Fromm is significantly heavier, plays behind a very solid OL and has Chubb/Michel pounding the rock very effectively leaving little pressure for Fromm to have to win games with his arm? + UGA has a pretty stout D with DL depth.

So, LSU has no back up ready for the SEC according to O. There was a running QB who knew this offense but was allowed to transfer. His name escapes me.

If Brennan isn't ready for the SEC, who comes if Etling goes down with an injury, McMillan?

Care to show me those well covered receivers? I saw guys running wide open last two weeks. They are getting seperation Etling just can't get them the ball.

Tell me where I've said anything about our o-line not being weak? You can't, you're just building up your strawman because you are irrationally butthurt at the suggestion that Brennan may be a viable starter option over Etling even though he's a true frosh.

Brennan being ready for competent QB play doesn't hinge on him being 10 pounds heavier, otherwise we shouldn't have been playing him in previous games either and he shouldn't be the backup QB in the first place. His readiness to play hinges on a lot of factors that are unknown to the fanbase but his weight isn't the primary impediment.

But thanks for trying to "help me out."
