Back in 1989, Texas A&M took a 58-5 record into the regional final Sunday vs. LSU and needed just one win to go to the CWS. The Aggies scored an amazing 65 runs in their first 3 regional games (that's an average of 21.7 runs per game). It was a complete team that many thought was hands down the best team in the nation that year, including the coach of their hated rival: Cliff Gustafson of Texas.
Of course LSU won both games that day and A&M was without their CWS bid. NO team is unbeatable on any given day. The greatest team doesn't always win...

Please don't show them our side by side records v RPI Top 50. Oregon St is a sparkling 12-0. LSU is 28-13. We played almost 4 times more top 50 teams than they did. One is called a grind, the other a breeze.

We are truly blessed to have TD. I haven't found a single college website that has the following and membership that TD does.
