if one of these teams wins out, esp. Oregon, they will be # 4.

Oregon - AZ 4-5; AZ ST. 5-4; Oregon State 4-5

Utah - UCLA 4-5; AZ 4-5; coloroda 4-6

OU’s Schedule

9-0 Baylor
4-5 TCU
6-3 OSU (could be 8-3 by game
Time)
Either Baylor 11-1 Baylor or 9-3 Texas Again

If they win out I think They’ll be #4

Alabama’s best wins will be 8-4 Auburn and 7-5 A&M

Records mean nothing in the PAC 12. Any of those teams can beat them.

Even though ESPN says Bama has a 69% chance to get in the CFP I still think you are correct. If the committee doesn't take a 1 loss conference champion (Big-12 or Pac-12) over a 1 loss Bama who didn't even win their division then what is the point of even having a conference championship.

Perfect "Keep Bama Out" scenario (outside of Auburn knocking them off) is 12-1 Oregon and 12-1 Oklahoma, along with the 3 undefeated teams. Let the convo for #4 be between Oregon and Oklahoma.

Unless the a committee wants to push to 8 teams then they’ll go Bama and the Big 12 and PAC 12 will just riot.

I would love to see how that calculated that.

Presidence has been set for Bama. Whatever side of the coin comes up, they get in!!

At that point, just screw the entire process. If that happens, I say just go full bylaws and have a 24 team playoff.

The only year in the CFP that they "snuck in" was 2017 - and it required 2-loss Ohio St. knocking off Wisconsin in the Big 10 Championship game. Wisconsin wins that, Bama doesn't make the playoffs.

I would like to see USC win out and get to 8-4. With that record, and losses to ND, Oregon, both in CFP top 15, but with a win over Utah, top 10 CFP team, they could be a CFP top 20-25 team. Oregon beating an 11-1 Utah team would give them 2 high quality wins. My entire problem is the entitlement that Bama thinks they should get. There OOC schedule is atrocious, people say well the eye test. The reality is that Alabama in my mind is not a lock against any team with very good talent, elite QB and modern scheme. Oregon with Herbert, OU with Hurts, even Texas with Sam could, could, beat them in a shootout. And that is the reality. Bama of course could do the same. I don't think this Bama team is unequivocally better than the other 1 loss teams that have high powered offenses. Those teams could, could, outscore Bama, or Bama could outscore them.

LSU won 2 of these shootout type games on the road, at Austin and at Tuscaloosa. We won a old fashion low scoring Defensive game vs. Auburn, etc.

I think a one-loss Pac 12 champion gets in.

Maybe if Bama gets in, the CFP should consider a rule change so that if Bama loses the first round they get a rematch if they were close.

AL REC has already paid millions in Cayman accounts to the playoff committee members.
Get ready for the rematch. Is it a Scam? No doubt.
