Good, let them have a shite schedule. Once we whip their arse at their place, they won’t be invited to the playoffs

Unfortunately this is probably true.

Even tho they haven't proven they belong. It's all based on history.

And for winning percentage independent of the losses to the listed teams. (Take out LSU's win for the 8 games, etc.)

1. LSU - 0.674
2. Bama - 0.446
3. Ohio State - 0.667
4. Clemson - 0.545
5. Penn State - 0.612
6. Florida - 0.643
7. Oregon - 0.625
8. UGA - 0.500
9. Utah - 0.553
19. Oklahoma - 0.511

Shamelessly pulled from here

all that these stats show is that LSU has been battle tested. Unfortunately these stats do not provide any insight into how good any of the listed teams actually are today.

Even though Alabama regularly, and this year, plays a relatively weak schedule, it still fields a good team.

There is a big difference between a really good team and an elite team.

I was going to ask about that. Glad someone went ahead and did it. And thanks for that link. That could come in handy.
