Catching a football at an elite level is a virtuoso skill. It has to be practiced every day. Funny how all the best WRs have done this for the past 50+ years (and the hacks practice a little here and there, when they feel like it)
Once again, link to LSU has not been doing this. Moffitt has been here long time and just off the top of my head Beckham, Buster Davis, D'wayne Boww all went in the first round. I believe I'm missing a few also.

I can't recall a single drop in 2018 that was affected by route running/separation.
so YOU are saying that Burrow made perfect passes all year last year???? Or that ANY incompetion was the WR'S fault?????

Same here. It can be addictive sometimes.

But this kind of thing is starting to put strain on that. The things which I enjoy about this place are becoming less and less easy to find as posters are allowed to run wild and ignored basic conversation rules...
I enjoy a good debate and most times don't care if it gets a little heated, but I have found myself being a little less enthused about the rant.

I'm starting to get to that point myself. I'm sure there are others.

Burrow’s drop rate % was better than half of the rest of the starters in the SEC. With a full offseason, I have no doubt that number will only improve.

And Beckham? Really? It is well known that he had to break in to get to use the Jugs machine - this has been reported on various sites, and despite lame attempts to discredit this report, it still stands as a factual account.
It is fascinating that you guys trash coaches left and right, but Moffitt is a Sacred Cow. Very interesting.

So once again, you have no idea what you’re talking about. You can’t answer the question of how many jugs machines LSU has. You can’t answer the question of how many reps each skill position player is given with the jugs machines each day. You can’t answer the question as to the availability of the jugs machines to the players outside of practice.

And even if Burrow was half-way down the SEC list (he wasn't), "mediocre" won't get you to the Playoffs.

Depends on which source you choose.
I have a very difficult time believing a source is that accurate that puts our drop rate in the middle.

There were plenty of people that disliked Saban as a person when he was at LSU - the guy is objectively a bit of a jerk. That doesn't mean people wanted him and LSU to fail.
I'm one of those guys. I hate Saban for, well, just being a crummy human being. In my opinion.
Saban as a coach....love him. Next to no one's better or more consistent.

Why do you keep harping on this guy's dislike for O, which he openly admits to having?
Roger seems to be hung up on people not being fans of Orgeron. It really seems like it's important to him for everyone to worship the ground he (O) walks on.

I was told by someone close to you that you enjoy fricking goats, and no, I'm not going to say who. Take it or leave it.
There was a time where admins banned the frick out of idiots who posted rumors without providing sources. Wonder what happened to that...

Ohio State fan who only came to follow LSU two years ago because of Joe Burrow has sources within the program?
This is why every knows you're an alter.

There are a few likely options, right?
He's just some fanboy douche who followed his boy to this message boy to flack for him, regardless of whether or not he needs it.
He's an alter to one of the many douches we have here who create alters...for whatever sad internet reason someone would do that.
He actually DOES have sources within the program and he followed Burrow here...which would be VERY troubling given how often he claims to know things about Burrow.
Of those three sad options, I'm REALLY hoping for Joe's sake it's not three.

Not even two years ago
He honestly thinks we’re going to believe that some random guy from Ohio who only started following LSU as of (at the earliest) Spring 2018, has insider sources within the program. The dude has already shown his true colors with his continued crusade against Haskins despite all on-field results proving him completely and utterly wrong.

What does Miles have to do with this? We were talking about this coach throwing players under the bus.
That's one of the go to moves for guys like Roger.
"O said we needed better players."
"OH YEAH! Well Miles threw players under the bus also."
"O use to get mad and rip off his shirt and smash cans against his head"
"Well Miles use to chew on blades of grass."

Drops aren't an official stat, so numbers vary wildly and there's just no good source for them. Bill Connelly, the stat guru of college football, doesn't even use drop rate, he has catch rate, which is essentially catches/targets. It makes no judgment on whether the ball was catchable, just who was the target.
LSU didn't have a single receiver with a catch rate over 60%. That's not good. Now, to be fair, everyone was in the high 50's save Giles, so there weren't a whole lot of guys dragging down the numbers and it would only take slight improvement across the board to get about the 60% theshhold, which is about the NCAA average.

Wrong. I'm using your point that you're not bashing, but pressuring. You have misquoted, twisted and pivoted posts since the day you signed up to scream "O-basher". Now your upset that someone uses part of your post in their sig. I didn't change one word. I have the post linked and photographed if you would like proof.
