Most folks in Houston that i come into contact with must not have got this message. Mention Les's name and you usually get laughs and guffaws.

I work in Houston periodically and most folks there would not know a winning head coach if he fell out the sky and smashed their 10 gallon hats. When you are the home of the Texans and the Astros you are not allowed to set anyone else’s bar high. Those same idiots screamed to get old scrap iron run out of town and we all see how that’s working out.

You know we really do suck as fans. Watching the last couple weeks makes me wonder why any coach would come to LSU. We're not as bad as the Gumps yet but do you guys realize how close we are to those stupid plaid hats and turning our nose up with that false since of superiority? Not to mention how foolish we looked through the Les Miles to Michigan ESPN marathon. The internet has given too many fools a voice. All you need is a few educated, well written and articulate fools spewing their opinions and the sheep will gather and run blindly with them off the cliff.

Most people here think that Mac Brown is a good coach but just got too cocky and rested on his laurels. They will be looking at him very closely. I think that if he has another year like this, he is done. They are about as forgiving as the negatigers

Don't pay any attention to them.Every fanbase has at least 2,500 "knuckleheads" as Miles refers to them.Miles just laughs at them all the way to the bank.

4 mil bucks and a chance to play for a NC???

Miles smiles all the way to the bank. I would think it would pretty easy to overlook the rants of know it alls when you are winning like never before at LSU and banking 4 mil a season with a 7 year deal.

LSU has been very good to Les Miles. I don't know this for sure, but I would think he would tell you that 8 years ago he would never have dreamed he would be having this kinda success on the field or that he would be making this kinda money for his family.

Opinion of Les Miles Outside of La.

Because he sucks at interviews does not mean he is an idiot.

This. Why does everyone think Miles talks to reporters and the media THE SAME WAY he talks to his players and coaches on the practice field, in the locker room, and on the sidelines ???????

So his pep talk to his players is:

"Uhhh, you know, uhh you guys just have got to get a want to...uhhh, you know....play today. That's a real quality team we are uhhh, you know... facing. I have a real want to see you guys uhh....really play really well."

It doesn't make one micsoscopic endoplasmic reticulum what Miles freaking says to the media, nor the way he talks to the media. As far as I know, they are not the ones wearing the jock straps or coaching hats.

Spoke to a friend of mine today who played fotball for hardin simmons. Thery are purple and gold and actually used to use LSU's old jerseys.

I asked him what he thought of les miles, and he said, great coach a person. He had great respect for him and also said if he had to choose between mack brown, nick saban, and miles.

He said, "les is more."

have alot of co-workers from Ohio State and all of them wanted Miles to UM so they could continue beating them!!
I live up here in Ohio right in the middle of them. I find the first quote above to be how most of the tOSU fans I talk to feel. The Michigan fans here are really disappointed he didn't go to UM as well. Of course, these are all people who know their football.

We're lucky to have a coach like Miles.

I live in Big 12 country, most fans I know think the dude is a frickin idiot and always resort to saying every year we SHOULD HAVE been 7-5, 6-6. They claim he only wins cause luck, Nick Saban, and cause he is at LSU.

Auburn fans can laugh at what he does or says all they want, but maybe they should remember that Les Miles is 4-2 against them.

Arkansas has earned the right to make comments.
