The only thing I learned about myself at LSU is vodka and white chicks.

Lester, you wouldn’t know a woman’s mouth from a goat’s vagina, the latter being the only thing you ever sunk a tongue in.

After Coach Jones benched him for not going to class, for what? five minutes? he phoned it in the rest of the season. I will never forget watching him just stand there and let people drive by him without any attempt at playing defense. No honor in him, no commitment to the fans or his fellow teammates. Just boo hoo hoo the NCAA should pay him if it wants him to try his best. He knew what it was going to be like before he ever got here and more than got paid by all the publicity he got and the building of the Ben Simmons franchise.

Say what you want, but Simmons has also multiple multiple times talked about how much he enjoyed college and LSU. Darcy and Keith both went to NYC for his draft.

Well he didn't win, did he Lester?

If you're going to be an arrogant prick, you better win.

I remember him winning against Kentucky in the PMAC!

Then I remember him shite talking Drake on Twitter about how he rocked purple and gold!

frick the haters. That’s all y’all are.

Blame his coach that would perpetuate indifference on the court! YEARLY! Before Ben ever stepped foot on the Court.

No, he's not going to be the guy that tweets about LSU and be an ambassador for the program. Sure as hell won't be a Shaq or anything. Shaq even shows up at football games and stuff sometimes and visibly roots for LSU. Ben Simmons will never be that guy.

Having said that, he didn't have the team or the coach around him to succeed. He always did his job, but he was never the guy like Steph Curry that could carry Davidson to the Elite 8 on his own back.

That’s not true at all.

If he got LSU to the final 4 you'd love the dude regardless of his neutrality towards LSU

IF he got to the Final Four then that means he put in effort and thus I would at least respect his effort and like him more. Cant say for sure if winning would have made me like him bc he didn't and I dont.

As a sure fire one n done, it is a natural mindset to be about the next level. If you're playing for U.K., Duke, NC, there are chances to win titles and create a sense of team/school. Jones did not do his part to make it a memorable experience.

His statements could partially be viewed as criticism of the rule that MADE him go to college.

Everyone says that signing with a non-blue blood was foolish for him or anyone of his caliber.

I don't think that is so much the case, it was that he signed to play for a coach that did not hold him and the rest of the team accountable and did not really challenge him personally and therefore his time here was only a glimpse of what he could be.

For example CJJ sits him to start a game against Tennessee for skipping classes. He sits the first 4 minutes then plays the next 36....that'll teach him.

And the rest of the team sees this and probably had been seeing stuff like that all year with the little Alpha Male pissing match with Q and that Tennesse game was just awful to watch. Nobody but Blakeney showed up to play or gave a shite and it was a pathetic effort.

And that's the environment he came into and it only festered and got worse because there was a significant leadership void.

As long as he doesn’t out us for paying him, I’m fine with him never mentioning us
