Thank you for the victories and a great start on the season. We love LSU and this teams and are glad that you are our coach and have a wonderful staff.
I noticed at your presser on Saturday that you took the fans to task about “booing our players”. My vantage point was my living room and although I did not “boo”, I did let go with a few choice expletives. My concern was not anything about Jordan Jefferson, but the fact that a decision was made to take out our best leader who is still recovering from being put on the field too early as a freshman. He did not have a very good game with Jefferson, obviously being your favorite player, standing over his shoulder. You think this is a good thing but I totally disagree. You have handled this poorly in the past having overridden your coaching staff about starting him last year.
It should be noted that Jordan Jefferson has brought more negative scrutiny to LSU along with the Willie Lyles thing that we found ourselves involved with as well as the fact that we are now on probation. We accept that and move on…..we are now holding our breath while the Willie Lyles thing and hope that does not get worse, prompted by your “having a want for film”. Jefferson has never apologized to this team and to our fans for getting LSU into this mess at Shady’s. Instead of reading only about the exploits of our team on the field, we continue to hear about Jordan Jefferson and his lapse in judgment. Jefferson can apologize to all of us without an admission of guilt.
As an alumnus, I also have had to endure classless acts by your players on the field who it seems playing hard is not enough, tend to run their foul mouths at our opponents. That, along with Jefferson’s actions, get a wink and dismissal from you and one of your “say nothing responses”. Jefferson gets indicted by a Grand Jury and is welcomed back with opened arms and inserted as soon as possible. I would have thought that you would have at least have the LSU student code issues resolved or even have his case pleaded out before reinstating him.
Is it possible that the fans were not booing Jefferson but this whole mess that has frustrated them so long? And now, instead of just shrugging it off and not addressing it, you have now riled up your players who say they are pissed at the fan base, following your lead.
I would ask you to neutralize this situation immediately and take responsibility for your actions because this all started when you “allowed” your players to break curfew…..
It never works to try to get the fan base, any part of it, against your team.
Thank you for allowing me to blow off a “little steam” and best of luck against Florida.

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt

Open Letter to LagdonCG,
Get the hell off of you High Horse. This kid was charged with a misdemeanor and has payed with his starting job and a (4) game suspension. Get over your moral outrage and pool for your team or go away.

Maybe someone should tell you how to do your job. You don't know WTF you're talking about and need to get a life.

I'm sure he'll read this and totally give a shite. Now do us all a favor and drink a nice tall glass of hemlock.

LagdonCG Does Les Miles bother you at work? Does Les come and throw rocks at you while your mowing?
Leave the team to Les....He knows best.....

Stop acting like Lee is a fragile little baby. He's a 5th year senior and JJ being back on the team will not make him a worse QB.

I love this board. No matter how well the season goes the majority of posts are some stupid BS about what didn't go right or what someone disagrees....even after a 35-7 win.
And spare me the "Lee didn't play well b/c Jefferson was there" WTF! Really? So not only was it JJ's fault the offense struggled last season, it's his fault that Lee struggled Saturday?
I like Lee and feel he should start the remainder of the season if he contiues to play well, but give me a break. He had a rough game and the WR dropped some passes. That's it.
