The myth that Les refused to try and change is comical to me. But oh well

Naw, not at all. That's why we belittle him every opportunity we get.
"Belittle"? Why do you take this shite so personally? People have reasonable apprehension about the Orgeron hire. That's it. No actual LSU fan wants him to fail. His failure = LSU's failure. It's not complicated. Maybe try to take a deep breath and don't take this all like it's a slight against you and your family. If you're O's relative I guess it makes sense.

Winning percentage was not what got Les Miles fired.
So basically Orgeron can lose as much as Miles did at the end of his tenure and he'll continue to get a pass as long as he keeps up the good PR campaign?

Im not saying he hasnt improved. Im saying no one knows if he has.
His interim gigs don't count as proof? Next, his entire LSU coaching career won't count because it's easier to win here than Ole Miss.

His interim gigs proved he's capable of stepping in with super-talented rosters and winning at the same (or similar) clip that got Les fired. Neato

Believe it or not a lot of people are of the belief that his Ole Miss tenure doesn't count for that very reason. Several of them are posting in this thread.

You do realize he was gifted both of those interim gigs, with teams that were preseason top 5? The only time he's built his own program, he failed miserably. And the argument that "Ohh it's Ole Miss, only cheaters can win there" is bullshite. He had the worst 3 year stretch in the school's history, and the guys before and after him were pretty successful.

How do you know if he has?

Wasn't the goal to hire someone who would do better than what Miles did the last 5 years?

We'll see. I wouldn't bet on that.

Most just wanted someone other than Les, hence the abundance of O supporters.

Ha ha. Youre the same dumbass that doesnt give tom herman credit for his 1st year at houston because it wasnt his team
I give credit to Macho Man for his first season. The loss to UCONN wasn't very impressive, but overall a very successful season. I look at his second year (ONLY his second of a 2 year HC'ing career) because he had the most talented team in his conference and wound up in 4th place in his division and 6th place in the AAC. That's not good.
MACHO MAN!!!
Video of the geek Macho Man falling down while trying to swing the sledgehammer he could barely even carry.

Exactly... But if he does near the same its better than Curly.... Not sure who we could have gotten that was available that could do better than Miles.... Jimbo maybe???

So wait, Houston losing to UCONN is on Herman, but LSU losing to Florida at home isn't on O?

I'll let the replies that have already been submitted speak to your assertion, as they have done so quite well. I'll only add that you are one nauseating motherfricker. "Not even a shred of evidence" my arse. But boy, let anybody say one bad thing about your precious Les Miles and there you are rushing to his defense, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Without fricking fail. It's downright unnatural, and incredibly old.
And then you come in here and shite on a positive post about Miles' replacement. You make me sick. What a fricking tool.
