From my point of view, they are not meaningless. I think coach has done a fabulous job with the roster for the next a couple seasons. Having said that, I don't see an issue with being skeptical about nonbinding commitments from 17 year old kids. I think the cautiousness is about the kids, not the coach and you seem to be confusing the two IMO.

They kind of are until the LOI is signed.

Why do you care what our class rank is in June when we have exactly zero people signed?

Until they sign on the dotted line, in a way it is

Every year we see kids who "close down their recruitments" to flip or commit somewhere else right before or at NSD. This doesn't just pertain to LSU but just Football recruiting in general these days, its gotten out of hand

A commitment is something to be excited about but based off what we've experienced and see over these years lately I will have some caution until they actually sign if thats fair.

WTF? Everyone, and I mean everyone, thought his biggest strength was recruiting.

It wasnt until he had the worst class that ree and you other idiots say the rankings dont matter. Basically said he filled needs and the past classes were top heavy with 5* skill players.

Now he gets a few dbs to commit and everyone acts like he is fricking god and we should bow down to him.

The spin from his camp has gotten out of hand. None of this shite went on with Saban or Miles. They didnt need validation. They proved it by winning championships.

Nobody knows where this class will be ranked on signing day.

That is correct, we could have several of our commits move up in the rankings. Then when we land Sopsher, Starks, Parker, Cain, Palmer, Lee, Dean, Thibodeaux or others this class will easily be top 1-5. Not saying we're getting all these guys but I'm sure we'll get most of them, while also receiving some surprise commits.

If you look at who we're recruiting, almost all of those guys are trending up in the ranks, which is a good sign. Many of our current commits are also trending up, another good sign.

Wasn't worst ranked class in 15 years. But at least you and justice think so.

Is that your best pick up line? Sounds like you're looking to hook up.

I gotta question if I may ...

Is it gay to play Putt-Putt golf with a friend nd watch his butt-butt when he tees off?
But, up, I ain't done yet
In football the quarterback yells out hutt-hutt
While he reaches in another grown man's arse
Grabs on his nuts but just what if
It was never meant it was just an accident
But he tripped, fell, slipped and his penis went in
His teeny tiny little round hiney and he didn't mean it
But his little weenie flinched just a little bit
And I don't need to go in into any more details but
What if he pictured it as a females butt?
Is that gay? I just need to clear things up.

Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Auburn between them have a total of six commitments who are less than four star. LSU alone has eight three stars or less.

We maybe should wait to start the recruiting celebration.

They probably don’t realize Surtain alone would have bumped the class to #8, which would have made everyone happy I’d imagine.

What about Goodrich, which they completely screwed up?
