Well people bitch just to bitch on this site. They probably don’t realize Surtain alone would have bumped the class to #8, which would have made everyone happy I’d imagine.
I won’t let ONE player discredit the entire class. There’s no final rankings when the class is actually filled, but it’s absolutely a top 10 class if you factor in Burrow and Alexander.

I don't think that was the biggest criticism of 0 anyway. I think it was the validation that he couldn't recruit like everyone said he could. I believe that's called the last straw.
It's a bit of a back asswards way to get to a decent recruiting class but hopefully it pans out. Here's to hoping everything is above board and we don't end up with recruiting violations over some shady crap though.
I'm always hoping to be wrong about 0's abilities. I'll take Tigers winning every day.

I get the point that ranking on signing day is more important than rank in June. And ranking at end of year is most important. But, I'd rather be ranked in June than not ranked. I am guessing the team with the #1 recruiting class on NSD was ranked pretty high in June. And I'm betting the #1 team at the end of the year was ranked in the top 15-20 on NSD. I doubt being ranked #100 in June moved into the top 10 spot on NSD; and certainly did not move to #1 at year's end.
