Their running backs were hitting the holes extremely quick

Their footwork was noticeably better than Alabama backs

Perhaps running struggles are more on the backs than OL?

I don’t know I’m not a football coach, but I can just tell you that the Indiana running backs -looked like superior athletes in person

Explosive no hesitation

They have somewhere to explode into with those big holes (That's what she said).

It was such a mix of issues with LSU specifically. The OL was clueless on who to block the majority of the time so people rushed free in the backfield messing up timing, our backs didn’t show any patience or vision to navigate the traffic at the LOS, Frank’s rotations were trash which led to no one finding a “groove”, there was just so many issues with this offense. It’s truly mind numbing.

Our struggle the past few years has been both. Sometimes the OLine made holes the RBs didn't hit and vice versa. Sometimes it was both at the same time.

Two things can be true.

We know the rotation of RBs was less than desirable.

I agree their backs both looked different than ours.

AND our OL was generational rubbish.

Indiana has great technical football coaches. We had coaches whose main skill was writing large checks. Huge difference

Go watch Berry and Durham’s high school highlights and ask yourself if not being able to find and hit a hole is some bad habit they all of a sudden developed at the college level.

If I told you 5 years ago (I know Miami/oregon, but) that Indiana and ole miss would be playing for a CFB natty what would be your response?

Well... a running back can't hit the hole quick when the OL is constantly pass blocking and wiffing on blocks.

They're not playing for a natty. So I'd say the same thing, you're crazy.
