Yeah, I just look at who would win Alabama vs Fla St today? You know the answer.

So did Liberty! They should be in the playoffs, right? Come on! The QUALITY if your opponents and wins has to count. Otherwise, I am calling on BK to schedule all cupcake games so we can guarantee an undefeated season every year, thus ensuring our spot in the playoffs!

So, we’re discounting FSU because they beat LSU, Clemson (twice), UF, Louisville, etc?

We’re bashing them for winning all games but not for Bama squeaking out wins against Arkie, USF, Aggie and AU.

Did NONE of you watch FSU vs Boston College, when they had a healthy Jordan Travis, a healthy team? If not, go Google it! Good grief! Educate yourselves and stop sounding so stupid! You cannot use an argument against someone when it can also be used against the very one you are trying to argue for. It undermines your argument!

My God, man

Please have the same vision with Bama’s games. You can’t be that stupid.

The argument is Bama beat UGA…..that’s it.

FSU didn’t play Texas or Georgia. That would be 2 losses for them.

ashington - Undefeated in a conference with at least one other powerhouse team this year, which was Oregon.

What did Oregon do this year to be considered a “powerhouse?”

Taking it one step further, what did Georgia do this year to be considered so great.

People just are refusing to see FSU is a completely different team w/o Travis.

No one is saying this. They are saying it should not matter. It obviously didn’t matter last week when they were the 4th best team.

Yep, and the win that Texas had in September is why they are ahead of Bama and have been. The games matter, or they wouldn't play them. ALL of them, regardless of when they were played.

So, does the "FSU beat LSU" argument not matter to those saying it right now because that game was in September? According to you, it doesn't help FSU "because it was played in September". A win is a win. So, FSU pulling out a miracle to win is no different than Bama pulling out a miracle - no matter when it happened for either team.

Cincinnati made the playoff and they would have been an average SEC team that year. The committee felt like they should have been in. The goalposts are constantly moving apparently.

Screw that. If LSU, Missouri, or Ole Miss were 8 and beat Alabama, there is no chance they move from 8 to 4. That wouldnt even be considered. Leaving FSU out just says that games don’t matter and Alabama plays by their own rules. The same Alabama that needed a miracle to beat 6-6 Auburn and squeaked by USF. It’s a joke.

Liberty scheduled two nonconference games against SEC teams, and won them both?

Being an LSU fan, I can absolutely admit that a victory against us this year is not much, especially when it was the 1st game of the year without Logan Diggs and with our sorry D. JD5 did all he could, but it wasn't enough. Really wish we could have played that game 2nd instead of 1st, but it's done.

It's not bashing FSU for winning all their games. It's the strength of all of those games compared to the others, along with the Travis injury that has totally changed their offense. Their wins came against teams that collectively had a sub .500 record. The other 4 teams had some of the toughest schedules in the country.

SOS:
#5 ALA
#11 WASH
#13 TEX
#33 MICH
#55 FSU

It's not even close
